I could not put this book down. I am a youth minister and I read this book prior to reading "BattleCry For A Generation," (the adult version), which I am currently reading. This book has changed the way I think. I knew that my purpose here was to work with the youth, but now I have a clearer picture. Thank you, Mr. Luce for writing such a great book.

This book helped to change my teenage son by harnessing the inherent rebellious attitude of a teenager and directing that rebellion against the evil of today's world. He is now a warrior for Good!

I received this book when I was 16 years old, and when I first read it, It opened my eyes to some things that have been going on in the world. Now, 6 years later, I decided to go back and re-read it and when I did, I noticed something. I noticed that this book is nothing but Ron giving us Statitics on how bad the world is. In the book Ron says this: "In order for our generation to get back out on it's feet, we need to start an army of young people." This is a LIE, straight from the pits of hell.
Ron claims he has been going around the world for nearly 20 years speaking to millions of teenagers and realizing their hurt and pain that they go through. He says that he wants us to rise up and change that. But let me point out a few things:

Starting an army of young people and going around and saying, "This is bad," "This is wrong," "You need to stop doing that," is not going to change the world, it's only going to make it worst

- If you want to get the country back on it's feet, you tell them about Jesus and how we all need salvation.
- If you want to change the world, tell them about sin and how it's the reason this country is messed up.
- If you want to win people to Christ, read to them John 3:16.

Edit: Now that i'm an adult, I ordered battlecry for a generation, also written by Ron Luce. It's basically the same thing. All he's telling us to do is start up an army and win people to Christ. I gave this two stars because there were some things in the book that I did agree on. For example, he says, "The media is raising them, not the parents."

This book really opened my eyes to what our teens, children of all ages are dealing with. It also showed me some of the things we parents and grandparents are allowing to influence our kids. Easy to read and understand. Highly recomend.
