This review is from: Battle of Land & Sea (Audio CD)
Calm, serene, eerie, lyrical, haunting, and lovely, Sarah O'Shura's vocals and acoustic guitar, accompanied by Joshua Carny on electric guitar and banjo is not quite like anything I have ever heard before. It is a bit like the soundtrack to a sad and poignant movie with lots of images of the heroine looking out of a speeding train's window at the grey countryside passing by. It is the kind of music to listen to late at night in front of the fire, or when driving long distances alone. Lonely, quiet, forlorn, but gorgeous too. An exquisite album. Battle of Land & Sea
