This is the most detailed account I have ever found about the incredible courage of the "tin can sailors" and light carrier crews who battled the huge Japanese surface fleet at Leyte Gulf. The book itself was originally self-published, and is a bit crude by big-time publishing company standards, but the content is pure gold. There is a detailed description of most of the ships involved in the battle, and many eyewitness accounts. If you are a WWII buff, this book is for you!
