5.0 out of 5 stars The Best of The Planet of The Apes., April 11, 2011
This review is from: Battle For The Planet Of The Apes (DVD)
The movie starts and finishes in 2678 A.D.with an equal society of both Humans and Apes at the start The Lawgiver recites "In the beginning God created both Man and Apes in his own image."The lawgiver goes back into the time that followed what happened 10 years after the conquest of the Planet of the apes.I liked this one best because of the little or not known peace time on the Planet of the Apes. When The Apes joined the Human race via Caesar spiting Aldo for what he did to his son.MacDonald said "you say we have rights yet we're not your equals,if you wish to release us then free us completely to live together with love."Caesar said 'Can't have anything to do with the human way the human way is violence and death."Then the wise ape,Virgil said "Aldo was not human."Caesar then said "You Virgil are a very wise teacher."Then Virgil said "And you Caesar are a very wise King." The movie ends with The Lawgiver saying "And we still await that one fateful day when the earth will be destroyed." along with the human and ape children at peace except for the Ape Gorilla Boy pulling on the Human African American Girl's braids and with her saying "Ow!"Then what follows this is the focus turns to a statue of Caesar and he cries a tear. Then it happened later on at Malibu Graphics they set their story as taking place 100 years after the death of Caesar and they invited comment and critique and were as a result just as annoyed by me as they were glad to have me there for them. But a great deal of it was there own fault not just for inviting comment and critique but for not doing their own homework and so I as a result made their 4 issue mini series of their comic book called Planet of the Apes:The Forbidden Zone possible.on The Cover of Planet of the apes:Blood of the apes.#1 They even wrote me a postcard saying "Boy you sure put a lot of thought into that letter on the time lives of the ape universe, glad to know blood of the apes really gets you to use the brain cells, hope it didn't distract you too much from the stories themselves and you're still with us?" Then I wrote them back proving that I was and then they blended the time paradoxes to make sense in Planet of the apes;the forbidden zone and courtesy of me.

3.0 out of 5 stars Apes all and any, November 18, 2010
This review is from: Battle For The Planet Of The Apes (DVD)
Just a part of the series.
Get the series it is no good on it's own.
Once there is a connection it all comes together makes a good collection which I enjoy every now and then but alone it really needs previous viewing of some description sorry hard to be more effective than that.
Suggestion watch 'em in the series.........no sweat!!
