Oswald and Jesus have managed to rescue Saint Michael and all should be good. But a bigger challenge now faces the Pope. He now has to deal with living with Jesus Christ as a roommate. Between roommate Jesus, the little old lady landlord, and the neighbors you would think Oswald has his hands full. But add Lucifer's sidekick who wants to regain control of Hellcorp and eliminate the Pope. What is a wisecracking man of God to do?

This almost a deconstruction of the super hero story. This is a story about all of the little parts of life that most comic book stories leave out. Even a simple trip to the laundromat is an ordeal. Between the demons constantly attacking him and the trials and tribulations of a near-brainless roommate, Oswald the Pope will face some of his toughest challenges. If you liked the first volume then you must read this one. Check it out.

BATTLE POPE: MAYHEM is probably the most offensive piece of story-telling I've ever read, seen or heard about! I can't believe the things Kirkman, Moore and the rest put into these pages! Not for the easily offended, or even those who it's difficult to offend. In fact, if it's even POSSIBLE for you to be offended you should avoid this book at all costs! Be sure to read the text that goes along with the sketchbook section at the back. I got my biggest laugh out of the story about Kirkman's grandfather...
