1.0 out of 5 stars The Worst Book I've Read, January 4, 2003
This review is from: BattleZone (Paperback)
I do not recommend reading this novel by Omar Tyree. The main character gets into Penn State University and has a hard time getting along with other people. The novel is just dumb and not to mention the main character is too. His character is just immature and throws a tantrum when things get tough. Thankfully, this was only a little over 200 pages and I bought it at a discount price!

5.0 out of 5 stars Terrific, September 6, 2005
This review is from: BattleZone (Paperback)
Okay, the girl who gave that a bad rating must either be racist, or not have read the book, or must have been offended about the comments that are said in the book. I found this book to be great.

I don't want to tell you everything, because that would just spoil it.

An African American student is going to a white college, where he encounters problems, finds out new facts, and learns things. There is cursing (YES!), and sexual remarks in this book, and it is a college book. This is an outstanding read. I absolutely loved it.

Be sure to check my review on King Matt The First, and soon Resurrection - Common.
