First off, we bought the starter set, the Hostage Tower Expansion and the other accessory weapons and they all work flawlessly ! Made very well and my kids (4 and 9) love to play. The twin crossbow on this attack pack works great as well. HOWEVER, the gatling gun, which my kids were really excited about, was a real disappointment. It fails to shoot more than a few inches. I have tried replacing the elastic band which came with it, with a stronger rubber band, but it's still not working properly. Don't let this scare you off, however, the rest of the sets work great... and what kids dont like to knock things down and "destroy." It is very simple for my 4 year old to understand so he can play just like the big boys.
