Nostalgic cries of "You sank my battleship!" are back in fashion. This Game Boy Color adaptation of Battleship captures the fun of the classic board game, while adding some new weapons to the navy's arsenal. You can play head to head against a friend using the Game Link cable, or work your way through the high seas by testing your war strategies against the computer.

The battle grid is smaller than what traditional Battleship fans may expect, but the constricted battlefield pumps up the pace of the game and makes it more difficult to hide your ships.

An innovative feature of Battleship for Game Boy Color is that each ship is armed with special weapons. The submarine is equipped with radar, and the battleship boasts a huge harpoon that can blast five squares simultaneously. Once a ship is sunk, its weapons become unavailable. Multiple offensive attacks add an interesting twist to typical one-square-at-a-time Battleship strategies.

Battleship can be played on Game Boy Color, Game Boy Pocket and original Game Boy.
