4.0 out of 5 stars Glad they made one
Pros:
- they finally made one that was close to being accurate after 2+ decades.
- they didn't really make it as a toy but more like a poseable action figure- ie there are no stupid joints with screws in them.

Cons:
- quality seems to be a problem with this manufacturer. The eye on the cylon is a smudged semi-circular blob. In 2005 one would...

1.0 out of 5 stars My Cylon is on the blink!
I was really excited when I got my Cylon figure. Even when it was still in the package I could see that the sculpt was right on. I thought this is a great figure... then I opened the package. I was really excited when I got my Cylon figure. Even when it was still in the package I could see that the sculpt was right on. I thought this is a great figure... then I opened the package. One of his chrome shoulder gaurds fell off right out of the clam shell. For thirteen bucks you shouldn't have to deal with that. I fixed it easy enough though with a dab of crazy glue. Another problem came into view when I tried to put this guy on my bookshelf. You can't stand him up! No matter how you try to pose him, the Cylon falls down like frat boy on St. Patrick's Day. As I tried to pose him for display I found numerous ugly gaps in the joints, and an arm actually fell off. That was repaired easy enough but still. Anyhow after all that I still like this guy because I'm die hard Galactica fan, but I wouldn't advise anyone else to plunk down thier hard earned scratch for this figure.

I am a big fan of the Original BSG television series. I can't believe the detail put into this figure (finally, after 20 some years). Of course it's not without it's flaws. The red eye is disappointing. It's like they gave up at that point and splashed red paint off-centered. Why not a small LED? The laser rifle is something less than desired after the detail put into the figure, why stop? There are also some chips in the "chrome" that looks as if they were points where its snapped off from the mold. The packaging is attractive and attention getting. Overall, I'm impressed and will keep it displayed on my computer desk.
