This review is from: Battlestar Galactica Colonial Viper Mk II Fighter 1-32 Moebius (Toy)
I bought this along with the Moebius Models Battlestar Galactica, and I have to say, the quality is excellent! Extremely durable pieces, that hold paint well. Clear and concise instructions, and awesome decals. I've never bought this brand before, so I was skeptical. But now, I'm guaranteed to buy from them again.

The only compliant I have is, is that the decails are to tiny for the cockpit. It is next to impossible to get them perfectly centered and hard to get them to come off the papper even using there helpful hints. Because once these decals are on they're on and if one of these tiny decals folds over you are not get them unfolded. Instead of one tiny decal they could have done a strip to lay on each side of the dradis screen in the cockpit to make it easier to work with.

I had high hopes for this model. As a fan of Battlestar Galactica, I've loved the look of the Mark II's from the onset. That said, maybe I just got a bad model because the left side engine cowling was warped and that appeared to be an omen of things to come. For the rest of the model it was craptastic. The instructions, while pleasing to the eye in their styling of Colonial Fleet briefing orders, are hard to follow for painting and assembly. Once you do get the model together (it takes time but can be done) I found out that the decals are even more craptastic than the instructions. Having worked with Trumpeter, Academy, Tamiya, Revell and Monogram like many enthusiasts this Moebius has delicate, hard to maneuver, easy to tear decals. Evan the Primus decal that goes forward of the cockpit broke when placing it on the fuselage. If you are looking to waste $35 in frustration then this model is for you. If you desperately want a Mark II then wait for the second version to come out.
