Decades older and slightly slower than the Colonial Viper Mark VII, the Mark II is nonetheless a formidable fighter craft. Equipped with high-velocity, high-capacity projectile cannons and unbelievable maneuverability, the Mark II can be more than a match for even the newest Raider models. This patched-up yet proud Colonial Military starship has the unique distinction of being humanity's final battlestar. In the 50+ years of the Cylon War, the Battlestar Galactica has seen it all and endured hundreds of conflicts. The ship is centered around its Combat Information Center (CIC), where its commanders can launch offensive and defensive assaults with precision. It's doubtful that there is another ship anywhere in Colonial Space with more heart and soul than this battle-worn behemoth. The rugged and versatile workhorse of the Colonial military, the adaptable Colonial Raptor has proven to be invaluable in the fleet's struggle for survival. Originally intended as a medium-range recon vehicle, the Raptor has been used as everything from a boarding vessel to an ordnance delivery platform. Though not as fast as the Colonial Viper Mark VII, it is also an effective combat platform, sporting electronic countermeasures capable of thwarting many Cylon weapons. I am happy with these models. The paint application and detail are very good. Have hung them up in my son's room. My only gripe would be price. If you are really into BSG and like miniatures, this set is a reasonable purchase.

I bought this, the black bird viper, the Mark 7 & Scar.

The Mark 2 vipers were major chipped from the factory, like they were tossed in a bin. The white one looked like somebody sneezed while painting it. There was a grey stripe all over it.

They are 1/2 die cast metal.

The Battlestar Galactica is not to scale & lacks any detail. It's smaller than any other of the ships. It's missing a gun on the front. Frankly, it's pitiful.

I have a new name for the BSG BS > Hasbeen Titanium Battleturd. I'm getting rid of it. I found a way better ship.
