This game is amazing, I loved playing this back in the SNES days. This was an extremely fun game playing with 2 people. In this game you have 5 characters to choose from, 3 being Battletoads and the other being Double Dragon. This game has a pretty good soundtrack in my opinion especially the first levels theme song. You have pretty average fights in this game, punches, kicks, super punches which make your hands grow big if you punch while running towards the enemy. This is an excellent game, the best on the Super Nintendo platform. One of the funnest things in this game could have been riding on those cars, that was very entertaining. So the answer to the question is, Battletoads & Double Dragon is one of the funnest Super Nintendo games!

Oh my gosh! This is the best game ever! This game is so much fun you'll never wanna get off the SNES once you play-(even if you play for 3 seconds or less!)-Get this game if you are looking for the best teamwork game ever! .....

Maybe since the game uses the name "battletoads" I hold this game to very high standard! Battletoads the original was one of the best NES games and one of the best of all times. It combined difficulty with innovation, I mean the game took the toads to many different and well themed levels with great controls. This game falls short in each category, however it's still pretty decent and fun. Below are a the pros in cons to Double Dragon and/or Battletoads games for Nes.
Pros:
Better A.I. with computer opponents as well as dragons and toads move faster. Bosses are less predictable at least in regards to Battletoads for NES. Has a rather cool point system different methods of defeating an enemy lead to a different amounts of points.
Cons:
Platforming difficulty is way down :( and so are the general controls my biggest complaint with the game. Level 4 in general not because it's hard, because no space ship should fly like that naturally (a stage like Battletoads for Gameboy stage two would have been great). Computer's can really cheaply juggle with is totally unfair doesn't allow you to get out of a combo at all to attack. However they would maybe bring down your life 3 points sometimes so it's ok it's not constantly doing this.

In summary if you want a true battletoads game this isn't it, however if you like slightly more challenging beat'em up and Battletoads is too hard play this!

use a save state or cheats to beat it, but STILL PLAY THE GAME, IT'S AWESOME!!!!!

This was quite possibly the greatest game from my childhood. Given how ridiculous it is, it is simply made of win. its still challlenging to me today almost 10 years later and now that i have it maybe i can finally beat it.

Team up with Billy and Jimmy from the Double Dragon game series and Wartz, Rash and Zitz from the Battle Toads game series for another action packed fighting game. There is a huge contrast of fighting styles, because Double Dragon was a slow thrashing game and Battle Toads was a cartoonish simplistic game. They combine the two to make a show moving and difficult game with really poor game play. The game is very slow and tedious, but at least action is diverse from brawling to riding hover bikes and everything in between. Another downfall is that the graphics are not up to SNES standards, more like NES.

same things over and over....but its good. Good 2 throw rocks at. I jest, this game is snes. If ur expecting something quality compared 2 todays games than you will be disappointed. At least its better than the double dragons movie...Good god!
