This item is a bundle that includes two games :

Battlezone 2 Jump in and take command in a fight that spans six exotic worlds with diverse environments--from steaming, swampy jungles crawling with deadly creatures to rocky wastelands strewn with boiling lava pits to ruined cities half-buried in nuclear snow. Players start by building a base from which they command a force of armored vehicles, infantry, and aircraft through a series of exploratory, offensive and defensive missions. Gamers will drive a variety of tanks and walkers, pilot the scout ships, and even jump out and fight an evil and challenging alien enemy on foot. Each side will choose from an arsenal of powerful weapons including guided missiles, mortars, mines and bazookas. This revolutionary game is the sequel to 1998's Action Game of the Year (Computer Gaming World).

Heavy Gear 2 Heavy Gear 2 uses a completely new, 3-D hardware-only engine to propel sci-fi combat gaming even further into the future. The new engine, which takes full advantage of emerging 3-D technologies, enables you to experience a new level of lightning-fast combat action, as well as indoor battles, realistic physics and photo-realistic terrain and graphical effects.

To accomplish your goals, your elite special ops force will have to fight through a wide variety of battlefields set on multiple planets, including swamps, grasslands, volcanic areas, arctic zones, and urban/ base sites, with realistic water and weather effects.

Heavy Gear 2 features a new level of Squad-Based mission design. You will send complex commands to your squadmates, using real squad-level battle tactics like flanking maneuvers, ambushes, and diversions. You will take on intelligent enemies who adapt and counter your squad's tactics with coordinated maneuvers and superior technology.

Heavy Gear 2 was an ok game, BattleZone 2 is a great game, I would recomend BZ2 to anyone who is into real time war / battle games!

I play Battlezone2 now for about 3 years, and still it's not one bit boring or anything. Battlezone2 can still even in Graphics more than just compete with most games of today, but in gameplay issues, no game reaches even close to the special way of BZ2. At first, it may seem a bit complicated, but everyone who plays it will be overwhelmed by its Great Atmosphere, the exciting story, the intelligent gameplay, the amount of tactical possibilities AND SO ON.....
The Big disadvantage of BZ2 is that it sold badly in the past, but everyone who did buy it LOVES it and even now after this long time, many Players play it on-and offline. Lots of new great Projects are still being created, for example it's recently released fantastic inofficial addon 'Forgotten Enemies'; one of the best organised Fan Projects ever. ... So, the only thing that I still need to say: buy this; BZ2 is a great game which you will love, no matter who deep you go into it. and, oh yes, before I forget it: Heavy Gear II also is an awesome game ;-)
