Book Description

With so much attention paid to America's war on terror in Afghanistan and Iraq, the world has all but forgotten the spread of terrorism in other regions. One of the most dangerous regions is the greater Horn of Africa along with Yemen, its volatile neighbor. This book offers authoritative insight into the struggle against terrorism in the Horn - what has been done and what work remains.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great Read, October 6, 2007
This book provided excellent information on the somewhat current situation in the Horn of Africa. The authors are intelligent, and well informed and are able to explain the situation in each of the case studies in a way to provide a great overview of the current issues in each country. Recommend read before going in depth on each of the countries in the Horn of Africa because it links the spheres of influence of each country in the case studies.
