We use this in our full size tub, and started using it when our daughter was around 5 months old and couldn't fit in her infant tub, but still wasn't steady enough to sit in the big tub yet. It works really well to keep her head out of the water when she lies back and even though she is now 9 months and sits up most of the time it also has helped her steady herself when sitting. We air dry it between baths and have not had any issues with it getting mildew or mold. The blue color is more of a greenish-blue, which I actually like better.

It's not as soft as it looks. The crinkly material they use to stuff it makes it crunchy and not real soft. The liner is smooth but there is nothing in the middle for support. The ends are held together by a very thin, stretchy piece of material in the center. Baby is supposed to lay in this?? I read somewhere that it is okay to use in the sink, not true. The sink would be pressing into the baby's back through the material, not comfortable. If I could go back, I would get the foam bather, because it is all fluff and probably more comfy.

We bought the Batya for a friend after seeing several babies (and parents) enjoying it together. We think it is a great idea and also that the execution was done well. Pros include comfort, fun and the fact that babies like it. The only con is that it gets cold quickly and hot water needs to be constantly flowing. Maybe not so good for dry areas of the world...

I bought one of these for my grandson, and at first I was a little nervous using it. However, he loves it! He is 6 months old and and he just lounges in it while getting his bath. As one of the other reviews stated, this is not a floating device you cannot leave them unattended. My grandson loves it, and I love it too. It makes bathing him very easy and enjoyable.

I just recently bought another one for my grandaughter who is 1 1/2 months old. This fits perfectly in a large sink. She also loves bath time.

The only drawback would be the eyes. These poke into the back of their heads if you leave it face up, however, I flip it over when using it with the eyes pointing down into the water. Perfect!

Had this for my first son and purchased it now again for my second. i was terrified giving him baths so this really helped calm me down. it keeps the baby "floating" while providing great support to his spine and head. it's soft to the touch but firm. you can't leave baby by himself on this but it makes all the difference. one thing to consider- it doesn't dry very well or fast you have to spread it right after the bath and make sure it dries well. i couldn't keep the first batya for my second son cause it would get moldy, but the price is reasonable for a few months of use. stopped using it when my son was 5 months and i could hold him sitting down.

It seems a very interesting approach to keep your baby afloat. However, it does not allow the water to cover his body, and hence it is to cold. It is expensive and I would have not been able to use it for more than 2-3 months when babies want to be sitting while taking a bath. On the picture they don't show where the eyeballs of the cushion go, but they end up on the baby's head or neck.

I've been using one of these for my daughter since she was a newborn, she's 5 months old now. I LOVE it! She loves it! It fits perfect in her hoppop baby bath tub too. No room for it to tilt over or anything. Definitely recommend this to all moms!

We had one of those sponge mats but it kept falling apart & was hard to hang or set up to dry between baths. This it cute & soft & it has a tag tgat lets it hang dry. My daughter loves it.

The most AMAZING piece so far! We tried at least 3 different bath solution, but this is the best of all. Extremely well designed and fits everyone's need. Highly recommended.
