I wasnt sure what I would be getting~ hard to tell from a web picture~ so I was expecting the worst~What I got wasnt so bad, nicely crafted, large and functional. The steel is on the thin side, but overall, a nice piece. Could be priced a bit lower!!

Please note that this product has no cover and is 14" (somethng to remind you all) and costs $59 odd during this review.

The handles are confortable to hold and the bottom of the pan is flat (I guess can be used for electric ovens). The steel as someone else mentioned is slighly thinner then the regular woks available in other stores (but they are not stainless steel). This thiness allows for the food to be cooked faster but one has to be careful as it also allows for burning of the food (eggs with tomatoes). Wonderful for steaming and if one does not cook often using the wok, this wok would be recommended as it will not leave rust stains (traditional woks do leave a bit if not often used I think).

If one does cook with a wok often, then one would be better off to use a carbon steel wok as they tend to be better priced and would not have the time to build up rust stains.

I got it free with the purchase of a rice cooker. It turns out that this work is well built, easy to use, no worry about rust and best of all -- it cooks delicous dishes! Now I love cooking than anytime before. A+++
