I purchased this watch as gift for my son. It was exactly what I was looking for as far as size and looks in a dress watch. It has the smaller face, 18k yellow gold case, sweep second hand, date window, numeral face, and thin and smooth enough to wear under a dress shirt with a suit. I noticed before giving the gift that the watch kept exceptional correct time. My son has verified this. The watch has an open back which lets one view the automatic movement of the watch. This movement is the only real complaint(?) that I have of the watch. While it's an automatic movement which winds the watch with hand movement... if my son takes the watch off at 6pm on Friday and doesn't put it on again until 6am on Monday...the watch has stopped. So he has had to purchase a winder at some $40 to keep the watch wound when not worn for an extended time. The only advantage being you don't have to take the watch into an authorized repair facility to replace a battery in order to keep the warranty in effect.
As far as cost..Amazon couldn't be matched...and no state sales tax. I was also able to take advantage of free next day delivery. Everything as promised.

If you like the beautiful watch in the picture, do NOT order it from Amazon!

I did, and it is a totally different watch. The watch I received had the same model number on the box and watchband label, but it is not the watch in the illustration. Customer support agreed that it was wrong.

I know, they will pay for the return, but there are still two problems. First, I didn't receive what I was expecting, so now I have to go hunting for another source -- time wasted at Amazon. And, second, I now have to pack it up and take it to a UPS shipper. I don't recall that they said that they would pay for my time and gas for their mistake.

Amazon is starting to slip. . .

I am very happy with my new watch and I enjoy it telling my friends to buy Amazon products.
