My wife has been eyeing this watch for the past few months. When the price dropped on Amazon, we decided to get it. She has had the watch for about a month now and has been extremely happy with it. The design is very architectural - clean lines and structured. Also, she loves the 2-tone bracelet and the gold tones are more subtle in color (less yellow) than how it appears on the photo which she loved even more. It is very understated and elegant; not at all ostentatious. The BM 8738 has lovely details such as the mother-of-pearl face with diamonds on it as well as the elliptical-shaped dial with a diamond on the side. The only peculiar detail my wife and I debated on was the sapphire dial window which had a curved top and protruded straight down on the sides. My concern was that the exposed corners might get damaged from everyday wear but so far it has held up and shows to be very durable. After a month of wear, there has been some surface scratches on the bottom portion of the bracelet - but that's normal wear and tear. Please note that the date calendar is VERY discreet for someone who needs to see the date on their watch more visibly. Overall, the BM 8738 has a timeless and sophisticated design and sold by Amazon at an affordable price.

this is a very nice watch. my wife is deeply impressed. i'm a customer from germany. watches like this one are very expensiv here (2600). i didn't find a reliable online seller here in europe, wich is able to offer such prices. amazon europe doesn't offer premium brands (may be any manufacturer restrictions). amazon.com completed transaction and delivery very well. i paid including german 19% tax (einfuhrumsatzsteuer) and had nothing to do with our customs authotrity. if i wouldn't be so happy with my capeland, i would buy here again.
