I am an avid crafter and have a million different kinds of magazine subscriptions for crochet, crafting, embroidery, cross stitch and gardening. I just open the magazine to the halfway mark (usually at the staples) and slip into the holder and voila! I have a way to place the magazine in a three-hole binder. There's a binder for this and another binder for that magazine -- there's even binders for specific periods of time! There are also binders for special patterns!
They're getting harder and harder to find, so I'm getting a little antsy!! I have 12", 8 1/2", and 121/2" (for those TALL patterns).

I have purchased several dozen of these and wish I hadn't. They are so thin and flimsy that the magazine flops around in the three ring binder. If they were about twice a thick they would probably work ok. Worth about $1.00 a dozen. Not $3.90 a dozen. There is a manufacturer who sells much heavier ones but I have been unbable to find out the suppliers name.

These are the best for filing magazines. They fit so perfectly inside a three-ring binder and the magazines lay flat. A whole year's worth (12 issues) in one binder is great. I purchased 3 sets and know that I will buy more in the future. No more misplaced issues and no more damaged pages. This is a best buy.

It does what it says but be sure to measure the size of you magazines--I didn't. Time Magazine is too large for these, but they work nicely on smaller mags.
