This review is from: Bax Seat: Log of a Pasture Pilot (1st Edition) (Hardcover)
A book clearly written by a man who loves light aircraft and the joy of flying them. Those who are similarly inclined will enjoy, and probably learn from, the stories and anecdotes presented with a masterful and often humorous turn of phrase. The author has a unique writing style which can amuse or amaze. As an aside, those who aspire to write could learn much fron this book. The author is an expert wordsmith.

This review is from: Bax Seat: Log of a Pasture Pilot (1st Edition) (Hardcover)
Gordon Baxter was a word merchant with a "voice" truly his own and a style so clear and orginal that it could never be mistaken for that of another author. Often touching, frequently screamingly funny and always wonderful to read, these were, at least mostly, originally published as columns in Flying Magazine. If you love aviation, it is likely that you will greatly enjoy this.
