Not as good as I expected!, August 28, 1997
By A Customer
This review is from: Baxter on Magic: A Guide to Proper Playing Techniques for Magic : The Gathering (Paperback)
Considering the author of the book, I had high
expectations. I felt as though most of the
book concentrated on strategies and techniques
that were based on common sense. Anyone with
any experience with Magic will find this book
very boring!

Poor, June 22, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Baxter on Magic: A Guide to Proper Playing Techniques for Magic : The Gathering (Paperback)
Can you believe it? I wasted $12.95 on this P.O.C. I could have gotter 4 boosters for that! Instead, I get a book about magic that teaches you that the key to winning is to psyche out your opponent. The decklists are the only interesting part, but they quickly get boring. To all hopeful M:TG players, I say "Look elsewhere."
