These stools look great and with the height adjustment feature are perfect for my breakfast bar and super chic and trendy looking. Definitely a good value for the money.

However, the instructions that came with the stools were TERRIBLE. They failed to mention that there is a little black cap on the top of the bar that has the piston on it. I spent a really long time trying to figure out how to assemble the chairs to get the height adjustment feature to work. Not to mention the fact that the little black cap got stuck in the chair and I had to work pretty hard to get it out. Very very very annoying and I highly recommend to the manufacturer that they update the instructions and CLEARLY detail the fact that the black cap must be removed.

I am still giving the produce 5 stars because I really like the chairs. I fortunately was able to find someone else who this had happened to who had posted a review and I figured it out in the end.

Also, one of my chairs has some yellow spots on it, as if the leather had gotten stained by a highlighter, I've tried cleaning them but they won't come off so I am going to file a claim with the seller to see if I can get a replacement for that part. Will let everyone know how it goes.

The chairs arrived very well packed and in impeccable condition. They were also easy to assemble. However, I agree with one of the reviewers: the instructions were not all that clear. You need to remove the plastic cap on the top of the bar to action the hydraulic motion (the up and down). I didn't do that with one of them, but figured it out and did it to the second chair. All in all, a great value, very modern and streamlined look. They are sturdy enough and look much more expensive than what you pay for them (under $80). I am very pleased with this purchase and I seriously doubt you could find anything to match the quality and the looks in this price range.

Easy Assemble.
Sturdy. They take up quite a bit of space. Anyone with a small space should look for something sleeker.

A bit tricky to assemble, the directions are crap. For larger wider people these are not very good. Ok for kids or pony size people. I got some similar ones with a higher back and no sides, these were much better for our family.

I have purchased numerous items on Amazon for the last couple of years but I have a feeling that this item may end up as the most amazing product that I have purchased on Amazon. I received the shipment right on time and it took me less than 15 minutes to assemble both stools which is unbelievable given my track record of taking large amount of time for anything that I have to assemble. The stools look AMAZING and I am hoping that these stools will last looking and working like this forever :)

And by the way - For every other review about terrible instructions, it was a breeze for me and there was also a seperate note indicating that I need to remove the blackcap from one of the pieces for the height adjustment to work properly.

The stools arrived in great quality and look fantastic. My kitchen looks great and modern, and I am happy we have such comfortable stools on a highly affordable price. The stools look fantastic and are easy to maintain clean and to move around. Great deal.

These chairs are easy to assemble and the instructions are adequate. Amazing price for two chairs. They look stunning in any contemporary setting.

very good purchase. I wish it comes in black also. Shipped on time, assembly was not a big deal since I read the review about people figured out to take off safety cap and that should have been a key instruction. I am enjoying the stool very much.
