I looked forever to find bar stools that had everything I wanted and didn't cost an arm and a leg. These are great; they adjust height with the pull of a lever, swivel, and they are very comfortable. Love the modern style of them too. And they arrived completely assembled (I was worried they wouldn't.) Very happy with my two stools!

Overall - a good chair esp. at this price.

2 - durable and strong feel, nothing cheap about it
3 - swivels easily and raises and lowers nicely

Con's
1 - Back is very low and not going to be comfortable for everyone. The wife likes it, I don't. I can't sit on it for long periods of time. She can.
2 - The chair does not move around too easily. You getta shlep it. This may not be a negative but it's something to keep in mind. If you intend to have it in one place only, don't worry.

In a nutshell- this is a good solid deal.

I spent a lot of time looking for the perfect stools for our kitchen counter and was happy to find these. They look great in our kitchen and I love that they swivel and adjust in height to work perfectly for adults and children. I ordered 2 of these and one of the first ones I received didn't work properly and Amazon promptly replaced the defective stool with a new one. This was the first time I had ever returned anything to Amazon and I was very happy with the ease of the process. The stools are easy to clean and are very functional for our space. I am very happy with this cost-effective purchase. I was considering much more expensive options and couldn't justify the expense...these do the job wonderfully.

The chair took about 8 days to arrive from the vendor (Lexington Modern). I thought it was going to come assembled (which was part of the reason why I chose this chair), but it didn't. The assembly instructions were simple and looked easy enough, so I went to work...and they were...except one thing. I put the chair together, but the up and down mechanism did NOT work. It was difficult to pull apart (I couldn't do it, but my 6'6" bf did it for me 3 days later). I called Amazon, called the vendor twice (left messages both times and never got a call back), and was all ready to send the thing back, when my bf finally emailed the company about the issue. They informed us that the white plastic topper on the center piece needed to come off for the mechanism to work. NOWHERE in the assembly instructions does it say or show this. In fact, I was curious about this part and specifically looked at the pictures to try to decipher whether the piece should be pulled off or not before putting it together...and the picture looks like the plastic topper is left on! Very confusing. Anyway, with some struggle, we were able to get it off, put the chair together, and now it works perfectly. Sheesh!

The chair is perfect for our counter height kitchen table, but it is not a big chair. It's perfect for me (I'm 5' 3"), but a bit small for the bf. It swivels nicely and for being vinyl, looks like a high quality chair.

These stools were not checked before shipping. Poor quality for these stools. Not assembled as were the other two purchased from a different Amazon supplier at a lesser price. Shipped back at a cost of $ 58.00. Too much! Not specific enough in the add. Will not use this supplier again.
