Terrific cookbook,

I have hundreds of cookbooks, but for some reason, I really like this one. The recipes are authentic and delicious. Nothing too fancy, just regular American home cooking. It includes my favorite recipe for fried chicken and beef stroganoff.
I like that most of the recipes use real ingredients. I hate it when a recipe starts with a box of cake mix and ends with a carton of frosting. That's a shopping list not a recipe! |
