My house has a high ceiling with par20 bulbs and outdoor lamps with par 30 long necks. I have had no major problems with this kit. It works as stated. Unfortunately I wish the kit came with a broken lightbulb adapter or CFL bulb adapter, but it's a minor quibble. The other adapters can be bought seperately, which I think I'll do later.

Love it. I do understand some of the complaints about it being cheap. But just make sure you tighten it well. If something comes undone, don't panic. carefully tighen or screw attachment back in. be careful and reasonalbly gentle and it works fantastic. My first attempt left the attachement stuck to the light bulb, 20 feet up. I carefully reattached it. gentlely detached it from the light bulb and tightened its components well. I then removed the bulb without a glitch, put in a new one and fixed three others. I can't wait to use it again. I keep hoping more bulbs will burn out. 4/5 only because it is a little cheap. Really it's 5/5 given its price.

So glad I bought this, enough said. Only downside is it doesnt work with new CFL bulbs.

The apparatus seems a bit flimsy, and I cannot attest to whether it will work on all the varieties of bulbs it claims, but it worked for changing a regular indoor flood from a high ceiling. There really is no other option other than hiring someone to come in with a huge ladder, so this thing pays for iteself in 1 use if you have a ceiling like this.

Good for a simple case like inserting a light bulb into an empty socket. But, I had problems when the existing light bulb was over-tightened.

I bought this product in the past and it worked well. I am changing a really high light bulb and am stuck now. The standard flood light product fit the bulb and allowed me to screw in the bulb but there was not enough room to extract the head piece. So the canister came out of the ceiling. What a mess. Make sure to use the suction cup with floodlights!! The suction cup works well and has a little string to break suction once you're done. This is a great product for the price and I recommend it. Just be careful so that you can get the head piece out of the canister!!!

I was immediately sorry when I first tried to use this. It is not well made, and I had a lot of trouble getting the pole to lock tight. It was not easy to remove a bulb, and impossible to extract a broken one. I threw it out, and will stick with a better made, professional model. This is inexpensive, and it shows.

I got this item at Home Depot for $20. Every time that I tried to turn it to unscrew the floodlight, the pole would loosen and collapse. I'm returning it!

Easy enough to use. Does the job of changing those high ceiling bulb changes.

This Bayco Bulb Changing Kit is a piece of junk. I purchased at a DIY store, I thought it would be very helpful for the recessed lights in our home's soffit. It broke in the first few minutes of use. Suction cup is also worthless. I found this to be a very cheaply-made and poorly designed product. If you value your time and money, look for something else.
