The one I received was black. It has two hooks for hanging, one on top and one on bottom. The cord is very long. Good enough for most shop applications. Also has two switches, one for each bulb (very nice). I only wish it came with a magnet, as shown in picture.
All in all, a good buy.

Recieved the trouble light in black. Nice bright light output. Good long cord. Heavy duty plastic.
The hooks on the top and bottom are kind of flimsy plastic, but the rest of the light is well built. It should last a long time.

This light is excellent. It lights up the entire work area and then some. The 25' cord is great, allowing extended reaches in various work areas. An excellent, excellent light for the price. Would most definitely buy from this supplier again.

Beware, even though there is a Magnet attached to this light, no Magnet is included with it. The light is well made with a sufficient cord and Amazon is more than obliging in its deliberations about a purchase. It seems to me that someone inadvertantly stock the Magnet to the light. A sales pitch perhaps? but it is misleading !!

Works as advertised. Kinda clunky, unrefined. I'd like to have this much light in a smaller lighter unit. Arrived promptly and was nicely packaged. 25 Ft cord is much appreciated.

I've only had this light a few days, but it's seen a lot of use already. Here's my take on it...Pro's: A lot of light for two small bulbs. Grip is fairly ergonomic. At least it fit's my hand well. Doesn't get hot, just a little warm, which is handy when your hands get cold. Just put your hand on the lens for a minute or two to warm them up a bit. Reasonably light in weight. It even makes a decent workbench light if you have a shelf above the bench that you can attach a couple of small eye bolts, and then use the hangers to hang the light. The 25' cord is a plus for sure. Con's: Although it is fairly light in weight, it's size makes it difficult to get into tighter places. Rather cumbersome to position. It kind of lays or hangs where it wants, and points in that direction. You have to find a way to "force" it to point where you want, which is pretty much how all work light are. Hangers look a bit flimsy... we'll see how they hold up. Unknowns: Durability. Time will tell. All in all, if it holds up well, I'm going to be generally pleased.

I am very pleased with this work light. I really like the extra long cord. Two different light setting is really good too.

Some things are just plain wonderful.
Need a light in a location that hasn't a bulb anywhere? Need a light for a room that is experiencing an electric failure? Need a super portable quick blast of illumination for picture taking? Well THE SL-975 26 watt is the bomb for all of that and more (hate when advertisers say "and more" but I tossed it in to be cute. It produces bright enough light to HURT with DIRECT VIEWING & it does TEMPORARILY BLIND so avert your eyes when you reach for its rocker switches. Its lightweight. Has two swivel hangers, one on top and one on the bottom, neither of which Bayco Products (not Bayco the diamond jewelry company) shows in the promo picture. "Double" in its title speaks to its two sets of 13" fluorescent bulbs which you can turn on one pair at a time if you like. The tap, the 3 prong outlet in its base is ON all the time so turning the light off has no effect on its ability to power whatever you plug into it. HIGHLIGHT Let it burn for hours on end, and its bulbs are cool as a cukes to touch no matter how long its on. Its insert says it MAY ONE DAY FLICKER when you turn it on but mine has not flickered even once. The minor downs are: Its in a cage of course (that's what a Trouble or String light IS) and the hard plastic shell blocks light. Just twist it is all, if you need light facing in the other direction. Its 50% light option really doesn't matter beyond a foot away from the unit. I'll be darned if I can tell the difference in how much light you get in the whole room whether you have on just one pair of bulbs or all 4. Doesn't intuitively make sense to me. My guess is the volume of light is cut so much by that black cage that it causes that effect. The clear shield on its front side had a surprise for me. I started to buy a Coleman string light but read one review which said its metal cage was hard to pry off and sometimes had to be welllll, knocked off with a hammer. I didn't want that hassle so I bought this one thinking it looks like it has a cover which pops off easily and besides it comes WITH ITS BULBS ALREADY INSTALLED so I don't even have to get the cage off to put a bulb in. Well surprise surprise!- it comes off with a screwdriver! Two screws at its upper end hold the clear cover in place. I removed the screws. Cover didn't budge. I then poked my screwdriver handle into a deep recess in the black hood above the screw hole and Voila, the shield came right out. Once out I then see its a tip up and out motion that would have done the trick. Easy as Heck once you know that. Instructions are not clear enough on that maneuver and it doesn't mention the mystery hole I used either. Why was I getting under the hood you ask? Well inside behind the bulbs is a metallic instruction card on changing the bulbs. I didn't know the bulbs would remain cool and I wasn't sure whether the card was its reflector or whether it was actually paper that needed removing! Again, not mentioned in the instruction sheet. I examined it, decided it IS the reflector and put it back. I figure better to stay there where I can find it than to risk moving it for aaaany reason. Unfortunately it comes in Black only (the 25ft version that is) and I'd like Yellow. I don't have frequent need for it and I appreciate if handled by dirty hands black is best but bold colors are easier to find around the house than black ones. One store shows an image of the 6ft corded version in yellow in the listing for this model. It is an error. I could not locate a 14/3 cord version in 25ft length trouble lights.

Nice durable light,

I bought this light for all the household projects that require that "extra light". Basements, under cabinets, enclosed spaces.
The GOOD: -This light is pretty bright. The reflective material behind the light bulbs make it very bright. -Dual switch allows you to select the light to be 50% or 100%. -Dual hooks, one at each end allows you to hang it in different variations. -Attached cord makes it so much easier. No extension cords, just plug in and go. The BAD: -The clear plastic cover is prone to scratched, but that's expected. While painting the underside of my car I scratched by dragging it on the cement. I'm expecting to accur more with time. The bulkiness will not allow you to use is in tight spaces (under the dash of a car, between walls and insualtion, some attic spaces). OVERALL THIS IS GREAT PRODUCT. I will definitively buy it again or give it to someone who likes project as a another useful tool in their toolbox.

Fast shipping, no magnet,

The ground shipping was fast, arrived before delivery date. I was glad it came black instead of yellow, the grease from your dirty hands when working won't show. I wish it would have came with a magnet because I bought the same light with the retractable cord that did have one but it looks it will break so I could use it for a replacement. Looked on line for another one but didn't look like the right one. Haven't had a chance to use it yet but looks like it should work ok.
