Product Description

It is most often used by patients who are taking aspirin on a regular basis under a doctor's supervision. This product contains one-quarter the medicine of a regular strength aspirin tablet allowing you to more conveniently take the dosage directed by your doctor. This product is caffeine-free and sodium-free. Enteric coating is a delayed-released safety coating that provides added stomach protection. The enteric safety coating is designed to allow the aspirin to pass through the stomach to the small intestine before dissolving. Aspirin is not appropriate for everyone, so be sure to talk to your doctor before you begin an aspirin regimen.

Aspirin is a true wonder drug. One of its uses is in the prevention of heart attacks and strokes. Bayer advertises that Bayer aspirin prevents more heart attacks than any other aspirin. This is because it is the most commonly used brand of aspirin. Aspirin is aspirin. The active ingredient is the same in any brand of aspirin. I have listened to Bayer Commercials many times in recent years. Certainly, Bayer wants the listener to believe that Bayer aspirin is the preferred form of aspirin. In reality the buyer of aspirin can price shop the product among manufacturers as the active ingredient is consistent from one manufacturer to the next. Aspirin is very affordable and most drug stores carry a low cost generic.
