I live in rural Alaska, so we have to use a freight forwarding company for heavy shipments like this. When the package arrived, the box was punctured, torn, and crushed. I was extremely worried, because we paying to send things back down to the lower 48 with the freight forwarding company is more than twice as expensive as items coming up to us, so it could have added considerably to our cost. However, despite the condition of the box, the cabinet was in perfect condition... they package these things extremely well. Kudos!

Now about the cabinet... it looks GREAT. We love it and have no reservations about recommending Baymont furniture to family and friends. It is well worth the cost.

Two things you should know.
1. This thing is heavier than you think. If you are taking it up or down a set of stairs that has little maneuverability or through any other such area, think twice. It is VERY difficult to move around. You want more than two people. This thing is VERY top heavy.
2. Air flow with this cabinet is a problem. We have our surround sound receiver and Tivo inside and it gets pretty warm in there. I am slightly concerned about the Tivo, but I think it will be OK. However, you would NEVER want a Home Theater PC, XBox, or PS3 inside here. You would cook them in no time. The only options you would have with the PC or Xbox would be liquid cooling rigs that routes the tubing and heat exchanger outside the cabinet, but those are pricey and god forbid if you have a leak.

This cabinet is well worth the $ spent!

We looked at this TV Stand at Home Decorators...but it was very pricey - then found it on Amazon from same place for much less. Good looking and solid. This worked perfect in our TV/Guest room we created. Very happy with this purchase and got a great price too. :)

We love our new cabinet. The overall size is perfect for our 60" flat screen that is wall-mounted above it. It doesn't look too "office-like", yet holds the equipment perfectly and has enough space and storage. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it gets really warm inside the cabinet and we have to open the doors for a while - not exactly what we want to do to keep dust out.
It arrived well-packaged and no damage - which says a lot about the merchant.
