Replaced all of my incandecent bulbs in my RV with these. Same mount, so just remove the old bulb, and insert the new LED. The warm white seems very natural and these give off almost the same amount of light while using a fraction of the power.

After a long time researching and debating over which LED bulb was the right one to replace my old 1141 bulbs with I finally chose this one and I am very glad. I only have two bulbs in my Aliner so I could have spent the extra but I also did not want a bright glowing orb in the middle of the campground that burned out my retinas everytime I turned a light on. I uploaded a couple pics to show the comparison in my case. I am very happy with the light produced. It is slightly less light as others noted, I don't think it's 20% less but my old bulbs were really old so maybe I didn't have such great light to begin with. But for the cost of one LED everywhere else I got two and the light is much warmer than I thought it would be. Still whiter than the incandescent, but I'd call it more clean than white. I am glad I listened to the other good reviews ahead of me too. The bulbs are solid and I'm glad I got the glass enclosed ones rather than the others. I was just about to settle on the $20-25 ones that are flat (not the discs) and one directional that the RV stores are selling because it seemed closest to right. The light dispersion with these bulbs is even and not choppy like I was afraid it would be. The bulbs were also packaged very well, in their own cushion of foam and individually boxed. I will most likely replace the porch light and other marker lights with these too. If you are looking to replace the bulbs in your camper with LEDs I highly recommend these.

I tried several types of LED replacements for my RV, and these are by far the best ones at the best price that I found--especially because they are warm white, which are hard to find at a good price in the single-contact bayonet style. While not quite as bright as incandescent bulbs (maybe 80% as much light), these have much brighter output than bulbs with fewer LEDs or bulbs with directional LEDs (the LEDs only facing forward or with, say, a 100-degree range). The glass globe around the LEDs makes installation safe and foolproof: without the glass, it's easy to twist the LED assembly from the base when push-turning it into place. Each bulb comes in its own box, clearly labeled, shipped in a cushioning cube of foam. My first purchase was to sample them; I will be buying more for the rest of my RV lighting.

I put them into my offroad truck. Now my turn lights and hazards are fully LED. These lights are bright and are perfect! Now I can leave the hazards on for hours without draining my battery. As us cool guys would say "Its F'ing sick"
To you guys thinking about putting them in, Your turn signals will blink fast because the car thinks there is a light out. Simply replace the clicker relay to a true electric (not magnetic)relay to fix this and to bring the blinking back to a normal speed.

For outdoor path illumination at night I was not too concerned with the amount of light output, but they appear to be about as bright as the "normal" bulbs they replaced. The normal bulbs got so hot that they were starting to discolor the plexiglass light diffusers in the fixtures, so I replaced them all.

I like the lower power, the LEDs throw off light in all directions so orientation is not an issue, I don't have to worry about them getting a little bit wet (or bugs getting into them) with the glass envelope, and they operate much cooler, the color of the light is also very similar to the old bulbs - they are excellent! The only downside is the initial cost.

They have only been on for about a week, so can't comment on their longevity...

The shipment was fast and the lights worked as advertised - I would purchase from LEDwholesalers again!

These are a little bit whiter than the equivalent 1156 incandescents, but a little less bright. I am using them behind a plastic fixture over the bath mirror, you can see that the individual LEDs in the bulb each has a slightly different color, some even with an unusual tint. However, the overall light output is quite white. The glass enclosure is a good idea, keeps moisture out and keeps you from accidently twisting off the LED stack when installing it. If you want a bulb as bright or brighter than the incandescent, this isn't it. It is close, though, and uses far less power, so having multiple lights on in your RV won't drain your house battery for a long time.

I bought one of these bulbs to test. It's sold as a 'warm white' light. It definitely is not! I tested it side by side in my RV's bedroom reading lamps. The standard 12 volt incandescent bulb in one, this LED bulb in the other. This LED gives off more of a greenish white light, great for Halloween parties maybe but certainly not a comfortable color to live with and only about 80% as bright.

I guess LED bulbs are still in the early stages of development, or after reading previous comments, the manufacturer isn't concerned with what colors it ships as 'warm white.

I will try to return it to Amazon, if they'll pick up the shipping cost. It most certainly isn't as described!

I bought these bulbs suspecting that they would be much dimmer than incandescents that they replace. I was right. To be honest, for the price, I didn't expect much. I've placed one in a bathroom fixture for 'middle of the night' use and one in a double fixture above the dinette. I plan to keep that lit for safety purposes when we are in camp with friends but visiting sites next door. The 3rd one I am keeping as a spare. I considered using it in the porch light, but it just seems too dim for that use. For those two uses, they do fit my needs.

What I do like (and expected) is that the fixtures keep cool to the touch when these are running, even for several hours. If you do a lot of dry camping (no shore power), I recommend that you consider the LEDs that are a larger array / lumen output than these for at least one of your double fixtures. The good ones are more expensive and do consume more energy than these, so these would be an ok secondary "ultra low power consumption" light source. Don't even consider using these for replacement of tail lights or the like. They are dim enough that they would be dangerous in that setting.

Since I already suspected these would be about a third of the light of 1141's, I was not disappointed. I ordered them to replace the bulbs over the vanity in my RV bathroom, and for that purpose they worked great.
The color is much better than the blue-white 'daylight' leds, but still a little more blue that the incandescent bulbs they replaced. I felt the color was 'warm' enough to easily adjust to. I keep touching them just because the novelty of a light bulb that runs cold to the touch still fascinates me. In short, for my use they were perfect. If you are looking to replace 1141's in lighting fixtures, just be aware they're about a third as bright.
