Product Description
Up for sale is a brand new replica of the M7 Bayonet that was used by the U.S. military. The M7 Bayonet was introduced in 1964 when the M16 entered service during the Vietnam War. This replica of M7 Bayonet features a full tang blade that is secured into the handle. The dagger is measured at 11.5", and the stainless steel constructed blade is measured at 6.5". The blade is fully sharpened. The M7 release mechanism is located at the end of the pommel. Comes with this bayonet is a M8A1 style scabbard. The scabbard body is made from plastic composite with steel reinforced mouth and integral webbing belt frog.

This M7 Style Bayonet is fairly good overall quality for the price. Mine came with a jammed bayonet lug plug leaf clip, and returning it for a replacement through Amazon was free and easy (just print the Amazon provided return label and ship). Here are my observations:
Pros - + Fit two AR-15 builds I tested it on + All around good looking bayonet and scabbard + Practical knife blade that came reasonably sharp + Comfortable grip feels good in the hand + Good quality scabbard Cons - - Mounting clip arrived broken (as noted above) - Blade marked "China" Misc - * Scabbard does not have a standard belt clip, it requires a military style belt (I knew this when ordering it). Overall, this a reasonably good bayonet for the low price but be sure to check it over if you plan on mounting it on a rifle. CFH

Today I received this item in the mail. Originally I ordered this item to add onto my airsoft kit, and also to serve as an unorthodox hiking utility knife. When I tried attaching the item to my airsoft rifle (KWA M4a1), it of course did not fit. Nothing a dremel could not fix. I did however destroy one of my bits in the process. Came mildly sharpened and in great condition. All black construction with a nice gripped handle. The sheath is pretty nice also, but theres not too much to be said about it.

it fits on my AR-15 and if it wasn't made in China I would have given it 5 stars.also its made to fit a military belt but there is plenty of room between the stiching to slide a belt through the back.more than 2 inches so no problem there.
