I did alot of research before ordering this grill and that has all paid off now that it is in use and being enjoyed by my friends and family.
The Grill is well designed,made from heavy gauge steel(150lbs),well made(mfginChina) .Requires extensive time to assemble (3+hrs)
MY most liked features is the wide range of control that unit has of the charcoal fire bed in relation to the cast iron grill.From searing to smoking all as easy as pushing a lever up or down.
Cast iron grill is in three sections so you can add coal to the firebed without removing food
Not the most handsome of BBQ Grills but very functional and easy to maintain/clean because of the removable ash drawer.
Now the negitive side of my experience with amazon and thier system to keep us the customer informed about the status of our order. Well they Amazon supplied me with an erroneous tracking number and it took me three days and many phone calls and emails only to betold by amazon contact person that my unit had been damaged in shippment. After carefull inspection buy the shiping Co(CEVA).it was deterimined that my shipment had not been damaged after all. The shipper CEVA Transportations attention to my problems saved the day (not Amazon.)
