I am a very frequent Amazon buyer, and I rarely leave product reviews. In this case, however, I need to let people know how great this chair is. I just got it yesterday, and I'm already thinking that this is one of the best purchases I have ever made.

I purchased the chair on a Thursday and it arrived on Tuesday. So, it only took 5 days via Fedex to get to me (with SuperSaver Shipping), and that is great considering I live on Oahu. So if you live on the mainland, expect to get it in probably 3-4 days. It comes in a big box (about 50 pounds), and is packaged really well. There is some assembly required, but they give you all the tools you need to set it up. It's not difficult at all, and I put it together in about 15-20 mins

Here is my breakdown of the chair:

Comfort - This chair is actually pretty comfortable. It could use a little more cushion, but overall it was more comfortable than I expected. I'm 6'2", and I fit well in chair. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone over 6'5", but anyone smaller will be fine. The tilt and swivel is really nice, and the armrests are in the perfect position.

Sound - This is what really sold me on the chair. There is a speaker inside the headrest on each side, which gives great surround sound audio. There is also a sub in body of the chair, which isn't too powerful, but you can feel the bass if you turn it up. I use this chair when I play Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and it makes the multiplayer so much better. Now I can hear every footstep, and every other small sound that you just cant pick up on regular TV speakers. It even makes watching TV better. I was watching the Australian Open last night and it sounded great. I have a Blu-Ray player that I haven't used with the chair yet, but I already know it will be amazing. If you get the chair, try to set up the audio so you can hear both the sound from your TV, and the sound from the chair. Its fantastic.

Style - Did I mention this chair looks really good? It doesn't take up too much space, and it folds in half if you want to store it away when not in use. Also, I really like that it is on a pedestal and off the ground (which is one of the main reason I bought it). I don't like game chairs that are on the floor, so it's another reason this chair is great.

I wrote this long review to give you as much info as possible before buying this chair. When I bought it, only one person had reviewed it so I was a little nervous about what I would get. But I am very satisfied and would recommend this product to anyone and everyone. Right now it's listed at $140, and believe me, it's worth every penny.

I bought a pair of these for my game room. I like them because they're a little off the floor (good for us older folks). They fit a normal sized adult just fine and they're fairly comfortable. The speakers sound good. Only problem is the wireless transmitter works on batteries and only lasts 10 or so hours. The wireless transmitter has a 3v input, but I had problems finding an AC adapter that didn't end up causing buzzing in the sound received at the chair.

One of my chairs had a defective speaker. The manufacturer had a big sticker on the chair saying to call them 1st in case of trouble. Well all I got was an answering machine and they never did return my call. Fortunately Amazon came to the rescue and paid for return shipping and sent me a new chair which works fine.

I'm not a big gamer but recently started playing some racing sims on my pc.

I really should have thought about what I wanted before I bought this.
The base has no wheels so it is difficult to move around the floor and it is quiet heavy to be lifting all the time - I got around this by putting a couple of those furniture easy sliders under the edges.
The height of the chair is not adjustable and it is too low to use as a regular chair at your computer if you are working there for extended periods of time.
The seat is inclined at such an angle that you don't have any back support if you do work at the computer - but you could fall asleep in it very easily.
The seat is comfortable enough for the moment but if the cushioning compresseses too much more (I've only had it about a week) then I could see some 'augmentation' being needed. There is also a slight pressure to the underside of your legs (around the hamstrings) at the edge of the chair so if you sit there for a long time that may be an issue with getting 'pins-and-needles'. I haven't yet felt anything like that but I move around a lot with the racing sims - and my legs are always active. If you use an ottaman (ie feet up) then I doubt you will notice it.
Also, there are power wires that need to be run to the chair even if you use the wireless audio transmitter, so there may be something to trip over depending on where you run your power form - not a problem if you are expecting that.

So, all that being said - if you are after a layback chair that doesn't need to be moved around too much then this thing is awesome. The sound from the speakers really creates a fantastic atmosphere and brings you into the game like I have never been before. The speakers are right at your head so you hear everything. You don't have to have it blaring (good for a house with sleeping kids) to really enjoy it. You get some (not a lot) of vibration from the subwoofer which is great - and the sub really enhances the sound from the chair. I notice a bit of clicking and static in the speakers but it doesn't detract from the experience. If you you an audiophile then you might not be impressed with it though.


I highly recommend it even though I may have purchased something different had I of realized it isn't a replacement for my computer chair.

Chair is ok for price. Not the most comfortable thing if you're over 225 lbs. Little wobbly too. And I don't get the vibration but speakers are spot on and loud enough. Chair has to be plugged in to power so I also have sound wired. Tried wireless but I got feedback in the speakers. Might be an issue with my components. Easy to set up though. Also like that it is off the floor a bit. So if you are looking for top quality, then look for more expensive chairs. But if you are looking for an affordable gaming chair that gets the job done, then look no further.

ok the chair is really good and i will recomended to anybody no higher of 6'10 because is going to be small but great product to set up it takes about a least like 20 minutes the box come with everything you need

This the best purchase I could have ever made for my 13 year old. He loves it, the sound is excellent and the chair is very comfortable. I went back to Amazon and ordered a black ottoman that he uses to put his feet up on and he can store his accessories in the ottoman. The chair was very easy to assemble and the back folds down so it is out of the way if he is laying on his bed and wants to watch TV without having to move the chair around. The only advice I would offer is to buy the optional A/C adaptor for the transmitter. That completes the system.

I bought one of these directly from AceBayou on clearance. I'd read other reviews for these types of chairs, and had worried that the actual product would too small, flimsy, etc. After using the first chair for a month, I ordered a second one to match. For the price, I would have ordered 4 if I had the room.

Pros:
Cheap cheap cheap
Great sound (especially the bass-seat)
Volume controls and headphone jack
Seating height (not as low as a video rocker)

Cons:
Audio transmitters (they probably work great in the middle of a cornfield, but not in an apartment)
Ergonomics (these aren't Herman Miller's)
Size (These are *barely* on the small side. I'm 6".)
Build (There is a *slight* wobble at the base.)

Chair arrived quickly and was easy to assemble. I purchased this as a game chair for xbox 360 and the sound is amazing. I hear everything. I feel like I am in the game. Worth every penny. Makes a great movie chair as well. I wish it sat a little higher but is still very comfortable. I am thinking of buying a second chair.

Despite what is being advertized, the Rocker is not compatible with all PS3's. Mine only has an HDMI output. The Rocker requires an RCA or component cable output. An alternative is to hook up to the TV's headphone output, which my TV does not have. A final alternative is to purchase an adapter to convert my TV's digital audio output to RCA. I didn't want to spend the $70 for the adapter so I had to pack it up and return it. Thankfully, Amazon gave me a full refund and paid for my return postage.

Got my chair last night and was super excited. Was real easy to put together and the sound quality was outstanding. I would recommend that when you get the funds, to invest in this chair. You will not be disappointed.
