Spice Drops were repackaged, leaving me with no way to know if they really are Farley's & Sathers brand. They felt hard and are possibly stale, but because they were not in an original sealed package, I refuse to eat them. Who handled them? Did they wear gloves? Inside the one bag of candy were other types of candy. Sold by SweetGourmet, I would NOT recommend this company. I would purchase Farley's & Sathers Candy from another vendor -- if it was sold in the original packaging.
These are the best spice drops i have ever come across. I think i have ordered 3-4 bags by now. Lots of flavor, and soft and chewy. They stay soft for a long time too, but only if you shut the bag after opening (kind of a no-brainer)
HORRIBLE!!!!! "Packed in USA" No way are these MADE here! They taste terrible and SUB standard I am sure! ZERO star here! I wish I could include a photo of the packaging. The bar code does start with 000...indicating US/Canada, but the letter "X" precedes the numbers and I a not sure what this means. All I know is these candies are the absolute worse "spice" gumdrops I've ever had!
These spice drops are old, hard as a rock, and completely inedible. Check my profile - I never blast a product just to blast them, but these spice drops are horrible - and YOU CANNOT RETURN THEM!!! Do Not Buy these - the ones you get in the stores for a dollar are much, much better.
I love spice gum drops, I can only find the small bags around here and they don't have that good spicy flavor and neither do these. These were a larger bag that raved about how good they were and I couldn't wait to get them but to my disappointment they are not chewy , just hard.
I ordered spiced gumdrops for my Mom for Xmas. Fortunately I realized they were hard as rocks as I wrapped them, tried one and almost broke my tooth. At least I figured it out before I gave them to her as a gift. Waste of money.
