Bazooka Bass Tubes
Bazooka Bass Tubes enclosures are optimized for corner loading. The Bass Tubes enclosure's port and woofer are on the same plane and in close proximity for maximum corner-loading results. And, just like a megaphone amplifies a cheerleader's voice, the corner of your car amplifies the concentrated bass output of the Bass Tubes enclosure. The Bass Tubes enclosure's advantage is it fits any vehicle--the perfect fit for a perfect sound.

The BT1024DVC
This 400 watt monster is super-efficient thanks to the Bass Tubes Enclosure. No need to break the bank (or the car's electrical system) buying a 1000 watt amplifier. Recommended power for the BT1024DVC is any amplifier 100 watts and up.

BT1024DVC Features

  • Grill
The grill is both decorative and protective, preventing the Subwoofer from accidental damage from other items, such as golf clubs, groceries or book bags that might be tossed into the cargo area where the Bazooka Woofers are typically mounted.
  • Woofer
Bazooka's highly efficent, customized woofers are specifically designed and reinforced for use in the Bazooka Bass Tubes enclosure, producing a pure piston action and generating the maximum bass output possible.
  • Edge Roll
All Bazooka Woofers used in Bass Tubes enclosures feature large, high excursion, lightweight foam edge rolls to maximize their efficiency and overall bass output.
  • Tube Enclosure
A tube is a natural pressure vessel, and Bass is about pressure. The patented Bass Tubes enclosure creates a natural, uniform, hydraulic transfer of the Bass energy produced by the woofer.
  • Port
The port opening between the Tube Enclosure and the Port Tube allows for efficient transfer of bass. Bass Tubes enclosures utilize "Bass Reflex" technology to take advantage of both the forward and backward of the woofer, wasting no bass energy.
  • Port Tube
The bass energy created by both the forward and backward motion of the woofer are time aligned so that 100% of the woofer's output is concentrated into one output point.
  • Acoustic Damping Fiber
The acoustic damping material helps lower the resonance of the enclosure and simulates an increased air space.
  • Integrated Amplifier
The integrated amplifiers are performance matched to the specific woofers used in Bass Tubes enclosures to ensure that every watt of power is efficiently turned into bass performance. Having the amplifier integrated into the enclosure simplifies installation and eliminates power loss.
  • Corner Loading
Bass Tubes enclosures are specifically designed to take advantage of the natural amplification characteristics that occur when a subwoofer is placed into the corner of a vehicle. The corner acts like a megaphone, substantially increasing bass performance.

Easy Install
As with all Bazooka Bass Tubes Enclosures, the BT1014 comes with straps to keep the sub securely mounted, while still making removal quick and easy if you need even more cargo room. Optional Chrome-Plated UMS Brackets make for a flashier look, as well as a more secure, permanent mounting when removal isn't a problem.

I bought this to replace my 2 12" kickers(I was looking to gain some space back) when I hooked it up to my infinity class d amp, I for one was worried it would blow due to being over powered but also thought I would have lost a ton of sound however this once tuned in puts out by itself nearly the same amount of sound. Sick speaker!

Bazooka BT1024DVC BT Series 10-Inch 4 Ohm Dual Passive Tube

This Bazooka is a step up from using an older Bazooka El 6.5 non amp model. I like how this 10"sized hit bass notes deeper compared to my older 6.5" model. Volume turned up its not going to turn heads. A slight bump outside at most car running at idle. This suits me as I want to hear and feel the bass, not others hear it too. If you want heard staring bass get a box enclosed pair of 12's or 15's. If you like bass that only you can hear and feel then this unit will more than do the job for you. I don't really like to turn it up as I don't want to go deaf. Just enough to hear and feel, enjoy the music.

I blew it that is. Sub sounded very good and seemed to break in and sound better over the month I used it. Got it before I knew more about amps and subs, but now I know more. Regardless, I was powering it with a 600 watt RMS Alpine amp wired for 2 ohms, paralleled the dual coils on the sub. Obviously enough for this sub, though apparently too much. Pretty much right when I felt the sub at it's best, which was amazing, the moment was over and all bass was lost. The sub pounded my chest very hard, if I wore contacts I'm certain they would've popped out. I know it would've lasted longer if I listened to pop or hip-hop music, which hits hard in pulses, not continually. I listed to metal, hard-core, etc., and the majority of the time is double-bass constant power output, which from my understanding is generally RMS wattage (average power). With my amp pumping out 600 watts RMS and the speaker coils, from my research, at only 250 watts RMS I failed this sub. I bought it looking at the max wattage not understanding the RMS wattage, which I may still not fully understand. I tend to turn the bass up till the point of failure, which my next sub purchase will have HIGHER wattage ratings than my amp can supply in hopes that it will not fail.

I have tried a few combos for clean and accurate bass. I have used JL 10 inch, Bazooka's own 10 inch; both in good enclosures. I have a healthy MB Quart 250 watts rms driving the bass. I keep coming back to the 10 inch tube. It is cleaner and smoother and produces good even bass. The encosures may hit harder on bass peaks, but are not as efficient and consistent over the entire spectrum of sound. The tubes take up much less space, too. I was thinking of upgrading to a 12 inch tube but the specs are pretty much the same as the 10 inch. I have mine in the trunk of an Infiniti G35x sedan which is not the most audio friendly environment at all due to all the padding in the car and the driver seat position. You will not get tht massive boom you here from the bassheads with their thousand watt amps and dual 12 inch enclosures, but it is far cleaner. Turn up the volume too high and there will be some distortion, however. Careful amp tweaking will correct much of that.

I Bought a new alpine stereo system for my pick up truck and it just didn't have enough punch. Until now. I was told to buy a bazooka because they already come with a pre amp built in. I bought an amp for mine though because I thought the cheaper one was the best deal. Well, it was without an amp. But still...wow. Very nice boost. Easy to adjust level on radio. Metallic and megadeth sound great. So does lady gaga and black eyed peas. I will buy another one for my minivan. Later. My wife will probably flip out haha. Next time I will be wise and choose the onboard amp bazooka instead. Boom boom punch punch punch. Man I love my truck again.

I chose this Bazooka sub months ago.

I chose it because it came loaded with a 10-Inch Woofer (can't possibly do 6.5 nor 8" sub...the size is too close to my 6.5" door speakers...seems like a violation of sorts to get a subwoofer the same size as my woofers...maybe it's just me).

Initially, I had it hooked up in parallel to the subwoofer output of my stock headunit. It sounded better than the stock subwoofer (an 8-inch woofer that wasn't too bad, but that suffered because of it's metal baffle in the rear deck). I actually drove around with it like that for a few months, which coincidentally allowed the Bazooka to break-in quite a bit. The bass was pretty good at that low wattage (couldn't have been getting more than thirty watts from the deck).

Finally, I purchased an Alpine MRV-M500 Mono subwoofer amplifier - 500 watts RMS x 1 at 2 ohms which ultimately gives out 565W RMS (per the included insert). I went with Alpine because of its proven track record of clean, industry-standard wattage. I mean really: what would've been the point of skipping the amplified, tuned Bazooka tube only to buy a cheap amplifier? IN addition, something I wanted to consider is that the battery and alternator in my Honda Civic is very small, so going with a quality D-Class amplifier was essential (at least in my mind). It may have taken a few months to get the money, but I thought I would be happier for it...and I was...

The initial install (done by a local installer), was cool...but I'm not a newbie at this. I finally tired of the one-note reproduction of the install, and rewired it myself...
