Product Description

Product Description

As all in one solutions go, you simply can't beat the A100 Amplified Bass Tubes by Bazooka. Designed to be a simple-to-install, yet effective upgrade to your boats audio system, the A100 Bass Tubes feature a 100 watt, 2-channel amplifier built right in, coupled to a dual voice coil woofer. Since the amplifier has a built in crossover to remove the high frequencies the woofer cannot play from the signal, you get exactly what you need in the A100s--crisp, clean bass and nothing more. When connected to your system, the end result is seamless integration, both electrically and audibly, yielding sound quality your factory system simply can't touch.

Serious, space-saving bass for your marine system.

Ten-inch, high power handling, waterproof woofer.

Weather-resistant mounting straps.

MB Series
This latest generation of Marine Bass Tubes subwoofers takes advantage of all of the cosmetic enhancements of Bazooka's "BT" Mobile Audio tubes while maintaining Marine Grade perfomance! Being made of composite waterproof material, there is nothing that will rock your boat for years like a Bazooka Marine Bass Tubes subwoofer.

Amplified Bass Tubes Subwoofers
The result of our uncompromising approach to speaker design is the Bazooka subwoofer, a product that has revolutionized the car audio industry. The key to the Bazooka's outstanding performance lies within the patented design of the SAS Bass Tubes enclosure; a design that incorporates corner loading, a front ported enclosure, and an innovative shape that maximizes the sonic production of a given size woofer.

10-Inch Passive Sub
The MBTA10100 features a 10 inch dual voice coil waterproof subwoofer, and fits in places most 10" subs can't.

Easy Install
As with all Bazooka Bass Tubes Enclosures, the MBTA10100 comes with straps to keep the sub securely mounted, while still making removal quick and easy if you need even more cargo room. Optional Chrome-Plated UMS Brackets give a flashier look, as well as a more secure, permanent mounting when removal isn't a problem.

All of Bazooka's marine tubes are ready for the elements, equipped with waterproof woofers, stainless steel hardware, and weather resistant velcro reinforced mounting straps.

In addition, all marine tubes are salt fog and UV certified. Head out on the water and enjoy your booming system without worry.

I purchased this Bazooka tube to round out the sound in my Jeep Wrangler. Installation went smoothly, I only had to buy an amp wiring kit to wire up the harness. I used RCA cables from my stereo to the bazooka tube, they are low level so when the sound is low the bass doesn't kick on. The manual says to wire it directly to the speakers but I wanted to use my stereo subwoofer controls. With the top off it rounded out the sound quite well, but when I finally put the top up after the weather cooled off, I found that this thing pounds. I ended up turning it down. It certainly won't run with high dollar systems but in my opinion well worth the price and much more than I bargained for.

I was not expecting so much base to be generated from only 100 watts. I installed it in my 2002 Four Winns 190 under the drivers console in under 45min and was amazed by the sound that came out of it in an open environment. It doesn't kill my battery and it looks good too. I hooked it up with the remote wire with rca wire. Not one issue.

After installing & enjoying this over the weekend, I felt compelled to write a review, as most of the others talked of using on pontoon and/or other open bow boats. Although they were all favorable reviews, I was concerned this might not be enough for use in a cabin cruiser, but took a chance (and sure glad I did). This thing BUMPS and is more than enough (always want to be able to say that instead of pushing it to the limit, right?) for a cruiser (mine's on a Sea Ray 280DA). The output level on the sub is at 1/2, my filter is set at 80Hz, the head is giving it a strong but low input volume and it shakes the entire boat. Granted, every hull design is different and what sounds good on my boat may sound different than someone else's, but this sub was made for mine. Can't say enough about how good it sounds. I'm listening to a lot of different styles, but all have strong beats, bass drums and even bass synth (Taurus pedals on Rush songs sound incredible!). I mounted this along the starboard side of the mid-cabin so it's in a carpeted, cushioned-all-around, closed space with the woofer about 4" away from a corner (as recommended). You can feel it everywhere. If you have a cruiser or larger boat and debating on this or the 250-watt model, my suggestion is to try this first. It doesn't drain the battery and gives all the bass most would want or need. Highly recommended!

I installed this in my boat and I love it. It has enough thump to rattle the whole boat! Very simple to install.
