5.0 out of 5 stars Bazooka ROCKS!!!!!!, November 2, 2005
Man does this CD rock & with tons of class to boot. With guest appearances from Steve Lukather & Bobbie Kimball (TOTO), Rick Derringer, and Tony Franklin only adding to the smoke of this fiery disc.

The first track "Evil" is worth the price of the disc alone. This track is also on the Travers & Appice "Live At The House Of Blues" CD & DVD. The Live CD/DVD is also a real smoker.

PT revisits some of his classics (Crash & Burn, Boom Boom, Snortin Whiskey) as does Carmine with "Livin' Alone (an old Beck, Bogart, Appice tune), plus some remakes (Superstitious, Politician, Last Child w/Bobby Kimball vocals & Steve Lukather guitar) and some new tunes (Bazooka w/Rick Derringer guitar, Disappear,Babylon Baby, and Misfortunate One) .

Overall, a real solid effort from these two rock veterans who have easily surpassed their debut ("It Takes A Lot Of Balls")

5.0 out of 5 stars Another Great Release, December 12, 2005
Travers & Appice are still looking to be big-time players in the rock world & are doing a pretty good job. "Balls" was a very solid effort & their live CD rocked REAL hard. The only downside (FOR ME) is that they need to do more original material. The new songs on this album were great. Save the covers for when you're playing live & need to fill-out a complete set list. If you wanted to, give yourselves a cool band name (if there's any left). Please keep churning out albums & keep touring!!

3.0 out of 5 stars nice but ........., January 7, 2006

(REAL NAME)
it was once announced that "PT is a blues player who seems to take the music to a different level" having been a fan of him ever since the last few releases have left me scratching my head?.-----this release is just another in a long list of hit and misses!. songs are all fine but why is it that pat wants to remake versions of his songs which are already classics?--makes no sense unless there is little creativity left?? couple of classic covers and some new material. cd is fine, songs played somewhat inspired but nothing new to hear. I have come to expect much more from "one" of my favorite guitar players. to those who are true fans of PT, what about songs like "off beat ride"?--many of PT's sidemen are talented but still unremarkable. it would be nice if PT would invite MARS COWLING or JERRY RIGGS/PAT THRALL back into the fold!!! I am a longtime fan of pat travers and own everything, but what I want to know is PAT?, how much spark is left in you?--certainly there is little for me to see in this release.
