Please don't believe the other reviews!!,

The other reviews of this DVD MUST have been from people who worked on it or invested in it and are trying to recoup money or elevate their own fame. This is NOT, I REPEAT, NOT any type of T&A movie. If you compress all of the topless scenes in the movie you might end up with 60 seconds total. There's no full frontal nudity. The movie is completely retarded and unfunny. The only reason I gave it one star is for the babe who plays topless racquet ball ( for about 20 seconds) BEFORE the actual movie starts. The story is tired and cliche'd: Gym suffers from bad business, so they try to stimulate their business by making it more sexy and sell a calendar of bikini clad models. Even the "nude strip aerobics" class has no nudity. The girls are ALL ho-hum average, what few seconds of boobs you see have nipple rings. This DVD is falsely advertised. Don't waste your time or money.
I was contacted by an irate commenter via email who scolded me about this review citing that this movie in no way misrepresents itself as a "T&A" flick. You be the judge: The cover of the DVD is a pair of large cleavage-only photo with scantily clad women superimposed with the text "Bazookas" (which implies breasts) and "unrated" which implies a film of an adult nature. The story outline on this site suggest sexual tomfoolery at a gym who needs yo beef up business with sexy women, and lastly before the opening credits we have ( as stated in my review) a topless racquet ball scene. If all of these things combined don't imply a T&A flick I dont know what does. This same contact accused me for being on a porn crusade. Amazon is the last place I would look for porn.

If you liked "Porky's" You'll love Bazookas!,

Having grown up loving movies like "Porky's", "Animal House", "Bachelor Party" and "Hardbodies"; I eagerly watched Bazookas. I was not disappointed. This movie is made like the comedies of the 80's... a genre I happen to love. Sure, this is not a genre of high art, it is bathroom humor, and great bathroom humor at that. Bazookas achieves what todays teen comedies fail at, Non-PC, gratuitous laughs. If you liked movies like "American Pie" or "Superbad", bazookas is for you.
The girls are beautiful, the guys are hilarious, and the whole movie took me back to the time when my friends and I would "sneak" in to R rated movies. If you are looking for a fun escape for an hour and a half, I highly recommend Bazookas, The Movie.

Pretty funny movie,

Bazookas is a solid comedy kinda like National Lampoon movies. There are some pretty funny parts and there are some good-looking girls who end up showing their "bazookas". I rented this first on VOD and then I ended up buying the DVD for the extras. $15 is a little steep but I got it for a few bucks cheaper from another seller. I gave 5 stars because the movie was funnier than I was expecting (I laughed out loud 2 times which is kinda rare) and for the eye candy. The first scene of the movie was probably worth the price alone when a hot busty girl plays strip raquetball. (That might be the real reason I got the DVD! Haha.)

Who buys these movies for the plot??? Why bother taking up half a page talking about it? Its like the articles in Playboy... Who really cares??? Its a waste of freakin space!! What's really important here is the amount of nudity. Each of the female stars has her moments in the spotlight. Plenty of nudity. Worth the money. If there was no nudity, then this movie would suck, but luckily they did it right.

Impressive for True Independent Filmmaking,

I was impressed with this little film form independent filmmaker Thundercrack. It had pretty good production values for such a true independent filmmaker. The characters where endearing, yet funny. The stereotyping was fine, it didn't take away from the plot or the intent of the movie. I want to see a part two. I was thinking of way to help Angus the whole time. I will definitely look for more films by them, and just hope and wish upon a star that we can see more of the actress whole played the gym's accontant on screen. I don't mean the nudity either, although there wasn't much and they didn't use it gratituously. Overall I gave it a four out of five, because frankly I wanted more of the accountant on screen. This is definitely something to check out if you don't mind the low budget stuff, it's kind of in that realm of risky business for fast times at ridgemont high. I look forward to more stuff from them.

Pretty good low budget comedy,
This review is from: Bazookas: The Movie (DVD)
I found this to be a pretty good low budget comedy. The story is nothing groundbreaking but it was entertaining and the performances were good -- the actor who played the Judah character was actually quite brilliant . It's a campy movie with a dry humor delivery (think Office Space). There are plenty of "Bazookas" from big to small and all in-between but in the movie Bazookas is a guy's last name. Overall, I would compare this to anything by National Lampoon. I bought my copy from the movie website and got it within a few days from my order

Bravo, Thundercrack!,

What more can I say about this groundbreaking film, that hasn't already been said on these pages? Absolutely brilliant writing, directing, acting, effects for "the rest of us" that could care less about CGI, big name actors and the status quo. I have seen very little over the past couple of decades that comes anywhere near the entertainment value and genuine camp that is "Bazookas, The Movie".
For those of you out there like me (twisted?), there are a scant few independent films I've come across that provide similar entertainment. Off the top of my head are a couple of titles that come close to Thundercrack Films irreverence and inventiveness; I've linked 'em below should any of you wanna check 'em out: Cheerleader Autopsy WOW, The Movie

When I was a student in college, my friends and I made a movie just for the heck of it. It was fun and we thought the finished film was really funny. But I'm sure to everyone else who saw it the movie probably really stunk. That's sort of how this movie is, except that no one had to pay to watch my movie.
"Bazookas" is about a gym that is in danger of going out of business. Two brothers have inherited it from their father who died while watching a beautiful topless woman play raquetball. One of the brothers wants to sell the gym to a developer to be torn down and turned into a high-rise. The other brother wants to keep it going. They make a bet to decide who gets to do what they want with the gym. The rest of the movie consists of scenes relating to one brother, and several occasionally topless women, trying to keep the gym in business while the other brother and his henchmen sabotage his efforts. The movie is odd in that everyone in the cast is well over 30 and yet there is a lot of nudity. I suppose I expected a movie with so much nudity to have younger, better-looking people in the cast. Anyway, it isn't the worst movie that I ever saw, "Goonies" holds that prize, but it isn't worth much either. I'm guessing it cost them less than $1000 to make this film. I wasn't expecting much from the movie in the first place, but even so, it managed to disappoint me.
