Impressed overall,

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I was impressed with the sturdiness of the supports and the material. The only complaint was the assembly which could have been aided by better documentation. Getting the poles in the proper place was tricky, but after it was finished, everything stayed in place.

Poles Break,
This review is from: Flower Bed Tent (Misc.)
I purchased this two months ago for my daughters 4th birthday. I got it out 3 weeks ago and put it up. After 2 weeks it broke. The joints on the poles are not strong enough to hold the pressure of the curves for the shape of the tent. My husband tried to duct tape it but it broke in other places. I called the customer service line and got the run around. They want you to pay them to mail the parts back so they can send you more crappy parts. If it's outside of 30 days they won't take a return either. I highly recommend not buying this product or any other product made by this company.

My daughter loves it!,
This review is from: Flower Bed Tent (Misc.)
I really wasn't sure how this tent attached to a bed, it never showed photos or described how.Let me tell you, the 4 corners are like a bed sheet, how a sheet wraps around & tucks under the mattress. There is also a strap that goes under the mattress in the middle & velcros on the other side. It stays on nicely & feels secure. I am happy with that! On the other hand, taking off dirty sheets & putting on clean sheets, is kind of a pain in the butt. Oh well. My husband said getting the poles in was a bit of a struggle, but it's done now & no need to do it again. But most of all, my 3 yr old daughter absolutely loves it! We had no problems transitioning her from her crib to her new, big girl bed! That makes it all worth it!

What a disappointment,

Hours to put together, very poor instructions, very fragile poles. The fabric, while a cute pattern, is not sturdy so if a pole does not bend properly it will stick right through the fabric ruining the entire tent. The material is not pleasant to touch either. (We have set up plenty of put-it-together yourself items, and this was possibly the worst item we have dealt with).Equally frustrating is the velcro that will easily ruin the tent materials (especially the 'windows'/ 'skylights') if it touches them. In addition, ours arrived with a few ink spots on it as though someone added a few dots with a Sharpie marker for good measure. Since it was a gift for our daughter and she was so excited to have it set up, there was no opportunity to exchange (especially after investing quite a bit of time to set it up). For something that is ~$70, I would have expected a MUCH more well-made product. While I may try to contact Bazoongi first (of course replacing poles comes at an additional price too), I expect to have to replace it with something else. I definitely would not recommend this. |
