Bazoongi Special Edition Rocket Tent

This rocket tent was purchased for our 5 year old grandson who was having a rocket theme birthday party. It was the perfect gift. It took three adult men a few minutes to figure out how to assemble it, but it was the hit of the party. It's very well constructed and big enough for 3 - 4 kids to sit inside. We highly recommend it.

Product arrived well packaged. Assembly instructions were not terribly clear as three adults took ten minutes to construct. Once constructed the "playability" impact was huge. Kids loved it. This was mainly to be used indoors. I'm not confidant this would be a good tent to be left outdoors and be subjected to inclement weather (rain, wind, etc.).

This is the second tent we purchased from Bazonongi (first was the Indian tent), and once again it wonderful. We love that it sets up so easy, and has flexibility. The material and colors are great. Our two year old loves everything that has to do with space, and received this as a birthday gift. He crawls in and out a million times (great workout), races around it, lifts it up from inside and the outside (it is very light), rocks it back and forth, and together with big inflatable planets we go on wonderful trips to the planets. A shorter adult will fit inside with a smaller child. The detachables are cute, but not very realistic if you're looking for "real planets". This tent comes also in a bigger version, but this one is just the right size for our toddler and still bigger than I thought it would be.

I know my little guy would love this tent. He's two and a half loves forts, tents, etc. I might've had a better review if I had read the reviews here before I attempted to construct the tent. We (four adults) did not get the circles to work. When we connected the pieces they were very stiff and straight (if I had read the reviews here first I might have gone ahead and tried to force the pieces into a circle but they were so rigid it seemed like they would snap if you tried to bend them). We tried it as a octagon and couldn't get the vertical supports to stay connected to the "circle." I consider myself adept enough to assemble most toys but after fifteen minutes with this thing I threw in the towel and shoved it all back into the box.

The tent part was very well constructed it seemed really durable and my son really liked the little cut outs that came with it. I was pretty disappointed that it was not easy to put up. Our house is not big enough for a permenant structure and if I had gotten this together that's what it would have to be because I would never assemble it again.

I bought this for my boys new "rocket ship" room--looks really cute. They occasionally play inside it. Once I figured out you have to bend the rods into a circle it was really easy to put together.

I bought this item as a theme for a surprise birthday party. I read other reviews and realized I had to bend the poles to get the circle. I had the tent assembled in about 20 minutes. The hardest part was getting into the tent to secure the ties to the poles! Tent is definitely meant for kids!! However, once inside, I was able to sit upright comfortably and move around easily. Then I had to get out!! LOL. A youtube moment!! Very pleased with the tent, now I have to figure out what to do with it after the party since we don't have kids!

I got this tent for my son's 5th birthday he was having a rocket theme and I fell in love with this tent. I thought it was so fun looking. When I read the reviews it looked like a 50/50 chance of it going either way. Well I got a bad one. To assemble you have to take a bunch of straight pieces that are all bungeed together and make a circle one for the bottom and one for the top and you have straight pieces to make it taller (making a 3D cylinder) then on top of that you have to make a cone for the top..... If you've made it this far congratulations! I had two other adults helping me assemble this tent...... So after you make the "skeleton" for the tent you are supposed to just slip the cover over and boom you got a tent!? NOT SO MUCH!! Every time we tried the "skeleton" just kept collapsing so an adult went on the inside to try and hold it while we put the cover on... well it worked until they wanted to get out... It's a kids tent and not meant for a larger person... even when we tried with the kids inside helping us out we still couldn't get it to stay up... ITS GOING BACK!!!!! I just hope I dont get hit with a bunch of fees for returning it.

This was a little tricky to put together, took longer than I expected, and took a couple of tries to get the top on and to keep the poles from showing in the openings. Once together, it seems to be holding up well and was a hit on Christmas morning.

First of all the frame is not round.. it's more of an octagon. and the way you "fold it" is questionable. You will see some sticks poking on the side (not too much) and the whole tent is not very sturdy. it will lose it's shape when played roughly (you can't lean on it too hard). The frame easily gets deformed, but you can just crawl back in and fix it. It's cheap so it's not exactly top grade.

But still worth it nonetheless. Great addition to a space themed room. I cut up some velcro stickers and hung the moon and planet decals that it came with inside the tent. My 9 month boy loves it.
