As a diabetic I have to test my blood sugar and give myself shots of insulin. I have shopped around for alchohol swabs and these are the best priced swabs that I have found. I purchased the 12 pack for under 8 dollars, far cheaper then all the other swabs I have found online or in local stores!!!!

I have to do home finger pricks, and I've tried several different brands of alcohol swabs. These BD swabs are high quality at a reasonable price, with the added convenience of being shipped right to my door. I've tried cheaper swabs, but they weren't as thick. The cheaper swabs tended to roll over on themselves, which was annoying. These BD swabs are thick enough that I don't have that problem.

We use these swabs for my husband who has diabetes. We used another brand of swabs with our new baby at the hospital and they weren't nearly as good and we didn't like them as much...I didn't think I'd have an opinion on alcohol swabs but these are the best price and quality we've found!

B/D are the best value for the money. As an insulin user I use abut 8 swabs a day & they are always moist and have a large swab area .

As with all diabetics alcohol swabs are a part of life. These are the thickest and easiest to use I have ever found. The price is reasonable. Buying a twelve count pack of 100 each saves me having to go shopping for them at my local pharmacy. BD is frequently sold out at my pharmacy and I just hate having to buy an inferior product. These are worth every penny.

As a type 1 diabetic, I think have tried all the other brands of alcohol swabs and I have reached the conclusion that the BD brand is the only one worth purchasing. They are thicker and softer than the other brands which means that they hold more alcohol so that you can not only use them to clean before testing, but also to follow-up after your pin prick. With the bargain brands, it is not unusual to open a packet and find it is dry. With the BD brand, the rare times that happens can be traced to my own sloppy separation of packets, accidentally tearing the neighboring packet. This price beats even Costco and Sam's Club.

This is the gold standard for alcohol swabs. Don't look any further, just buy these. You will notice the box they come in is twice as thick as the others. The swabs are twice as thick! With these I can check my blood sugar and give myself two shots and use the same swab. The competitor's would dry out too fast and I would have to use 2 swabs for three procedures.

B-D Alcohol swabs are undoubtedly the best. Best in quality and size. The only brand I use. They do not fall apart like some of the other brands.

My son has had Type I diabetes for 2 years and prefers these swabs. I think it is due to the thickness of BD swabs compared to others. We liked the ability to buy in bulk. Will definitely be purchasing more of these in the future.

One of our local vendor charges TWICE the price I found through Amazon.com. Thanks again Amazon for having such a useful and accurate site!
