Be Amazing Lab-in-a-Bag Test Tube Wonders

I purchased this for my 9 year old. It is nice because you can do a small project every night. It gives a bit of science terminology without going way over their heads and provides manageable projects that are pretty impressive. My daughter has really enjoyed this kit.

My kids and I are very impressed with this kit. The kids love the test tubes and all the experiments are separate with easy instructions and no mess!! Going to buy some for birthday gifts for sure as most kids will love these projects and parents too.

I got this for my nine year old for Christmas, and it is great. Defintely have gotten our money's worth out of it. The test tubes are durable and can be used even after the experiments are done, the explinations of the experiments are easy to understand, the experiments are fun, and many of them can be done more than once if you want to. I plan to buy more of these in the future.

I have had these "test tube in a bag" kits before and sang their praises. But the one listed I was very disappointed with and would not buy more from this company unless I checked it out. One noticeable thing was how clumsy the test tube holder was, it could easily fall over, their previous stands were solid. The disappearing ink worked poorly. Making the ball was good, but the bubbles were not easy for the girls to use. Growing the jelly like balls was a repeat from another experiment.

After discovering that our 9 year old daughter had fun doing home experiments through a school book order, we looked into getting her something a little more exciting for Christmas. This item was a big hit with her, she can spread out the experiments over time, and can do most of them more than once. It is well into January and she hasn't even gotten through half of them. The variety keeps her interest, so much so that she now loves science in school and wants to learn even more. Simple and easy for her to do herself, without much help. Great family involvment (her 16 year old sister loves doing it with her and thinks it is cool too!). It opens the door to stimulating conversation about chemistry, and how it works in every day things. Through talking with her, she was actually led to an interest in cooking chemistry. Great idea for something different, educational, and most of all, FUN! Plus there are several more sets besides this one to add on down the road, great educational toy!

I got this for a 5 year old who's starting to show an interest in science. She liked going through the basic experiments in the kit, but there wasn't enough of a WOW factor to make us want to repeat any of them. The experiments are simple but I wasn't thrilled with the written descriptions explaining the science behind each one. They're rather convoluted. I had to translate them into simpler words my child could understand.

Also, the claim that there are 15 experiments in this kit is a bit misleading. There are just 6 basic experiments and the rest are merely slight variations on them. Clean-up can be quite tricky as well. My five-year-old really liked growing the colored crystals (which aren't crystals but more like bits of gelatin), but it took days for the "crystals" to dry out so they could be used again. By that time, she'd lost interest and so had I. Overall, this kit is worth maybe ten bucks at most as a test to gauge your child's interest in science. If they show an interest, then you can move on to much bigger and better kits.

Bought this set for my girls ages 8 and 6 for hands on science. It is not a in depth learning experience but it is great fun and creates curiosity to find out what else they can do. Think I now have budding chemists on hand. Any tool or toy that helps my girls get excited about learning is a winner in my book.

I bought this for my 6 and 14 year olds. They had a lot of fun together (and so did I). The instructions are easy to follow, the experiments very simple, so they don't lose interest quickly.

I was just surfing on amazon and came across this product by accident!!! I WAS SOOO HAPPY AND PURCHASED IT IMMEDIATELY FOR HER 11TH BIRTHDAY!!! ...Tell you why!!! My daughter has ALWAYS LOOOVEED everything about Science and learning and the whole hands on thing is one perfect thing about this product!! She enjoyed this product sooo much i had creations of crystals and fake snow and all these other weird science experiments she created with these test tubes, ALL OVER THE HOUSE LOL!! For years actually!!! My daughter held on to the LAST DROPS in each of these test tubes so she would NEVER RUN OUT cuz we had NOO IDEA WHERE TO PURCHASE MORE.... We live in Canada and found it at a booth shop somewhere by chance a couple Christmas' ago!! Anyway, i enjoyed watching her learn, play and show off her creations, which were soo simple, i also didn't have to help out with and look forward to my youngest playing with these in years to come...i will surely be stoking up and purchasing MORE OF THIS ITEM...THE GREATEST SCIENCE EXPERIEMENT THINGYS WE'VE BOUGHT!!!! And, i've done my faire share of purchasing science stuff for my lil' science lover!!!

This was a gift and caused the most excitement at our Christmas gathering. Everyone really was interested in it and the recipient couldn't wait to use it!
