4.0 out of 5 stars Where's the best song in the film?!
Gutted that "Cryin'" the duet between Christina and Steven wasn't on the album. I have had to put up with downloading the just aerosmith version which is great but the duet was faaabolous!! Otherwise a good album if you enjoyed the film.

3.0 out of 5 stars Buy it for The Rock's solo, if nothing else, December 15, 2005
This review is from: Be Cool (Audio CD)
If you need a little pick-me-up in the middle of the day, you can't miss with The Rock's rendition of "You Ain't Woman Enough To Take My Man". It was worth the price of the whole CD just to hear that hilarious send-up, complete with the Rock's ad libs. Add to this the fact that you've got a FABULOUS collaboration between the Black-Eyed Peas and Sergio Mendes, and it's money well spent. Those two songs alone make it worth the money.

4.0 out of 5 stars More Christina Milian on this record please, July 3, 2005

Christina rocks the movie and then there are only 2 songs of her on this CD ? She has very good songs in the movie and even the cover-version of "Best of my love" would have been appreciated. She should be more in the spotlight here, since the movie dwells on her talent. Where is the duet with Aerosmith? And why was her follow up album more Britney than Soul, when the movie showed how great she sings soulful songs....strange decisions of record labels ?

This CD is great very funny with the two songs sung by Christina Milian "Ain't No Reason" and "Beliver" that were written by members of the Black Eyed Peas. Also the song The Rock sang in the movie "You Ain't Woman Enough" This song is so hilarious. The Rock singing a Loretta Lynn song that is just great. The whole cd is full of good tracks new and old. If you like the Black Eyed Peas and the movie you should love this soundtrack also.

5.0 out of 5 stars Wow!, March 8, 2005

I went to see this movie, because I was in the mood for a kind of cheesy movie, which it was, in a way. The music, however, was absolutely phenomenal! As soon as I got home from the theatre, I immediately came online to buy the soundtrack and I love it! I honestly hadn't paid much attention to Christina Milian until she moved me with her voice during this movie. The song, Believer, is going to one day be considered one of those classic struggle songs that pushes people to carry onward, despite hardships. After seeing what a collaboration between Milian and the Peas can produce, I am very excited to see what her next album sounds like.

1.0 out of 5 stars Disappointing Purchase, July 28, 2008
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)

I was very disappointed with my purchase. The CD was scratched and therefore relatively unusable. And though the CD did not cost very much, one would hope it was still worth purchasing. It was not worth the cost of reshipping and therefore I'll mark this purchase as a loss.
