Warren Wiersbe has a remarkable ability to outline the books of the Bible in a down to earth, practical fashion that anyone can understand. This study of Jeremiah is a good resource for anyone wanting to better understand this Old Testament Prophet.

Great resource book to go along with the Bible....Great references. I have about 10 of the series and will buy whatever it takes when studying the WORD!~

I enjoyed the insight from WWWiersbe. It gave insight into the background of the Book of Jeremiah, his calling, life, as well as principles that can be applied to daily living. Stay faithful.

Wiersbe covers the book of Jeremiah in summary fashion, 13 short chapters. This material is suitable for use as a Sunday School elective, home study, and as a tool for the preacher.

One challenge of preaching through a book like Jeremiah is how to cover its material in sweeping fashion. Wiersbe excels at this, as well as distilling some practical insights and golden nuggets of wisdom.

Those of us who are solidly evangelical and believe that God has a special future for His nation, Israel, will appreciate Wiersbe's theological vantage point.

This is a good study that interacts with the text at a level accessible to most laymen -- and useful as a model to the preacher.
