You can never go wrong with one of Kobe Yamada's Compendium books. I love this company and all the books it publishes. I have several, probably over 20 at this point. I love posting quotes all over the place to remind me of my goals and to keep me inspired. This book offers great quotes about living in the moment that is your life. Love it.

This is such a neat book! I saw it recommended on someone's blog and the opportunity presented itself for me to buy it (had to get my $25 for free shipping) so I got it.

It couldn't be simpler--on the left hand side of each spread is the word "be" along with another word--amazing, daring, present, etc. On the right hand side of each page is a quote pertaining to the "be" phrase. Each set of pages is in a solid color with the text in white. The "be" page has the words fairly small (maybe 100 pt.) centered in the middle of the page and the quote page makes interesting use of centering, size, and shape of the text. The quotes are very appropriate and the combination of the two pages is very striking, especially with the use of color.

I bought this book to use as an art journal. I am using beautiful Sakura pens to decorate the "be" side of each layout with other quotes, definitions, and doodling. I love it! This book would make a great gift for anyone who likes quotes.

I purchased several of these books after I found one in a gift shop in Florida. It's inspirational and filled with good 'reminders' about living your life everyday. I also love its typestyle and layout, it's as pretty to look at as it is uplifting to read. What a great stocking-stuffer for a friend, co-worker, child, spouse -- anyone who could use a positive affirmation. And for a bonus, the price is right!
