She almost had me convinced!,

I have to laugh at myself...maybe it was because it was a Saturday evening after a long week at work. Maybe because I needed to be transported to someone else's world to escape the stress' of my daily life, but as I was reading this book, there was a part of me that could identify with how these guys felt about her...and that they all truly loved and wanted to be with her. It's an interesting and absolutely steamy read. The plot-line with the (ahem) stalker, was just entertaining enough, but it was the dialogue with these characters that kept me turning the pages. Of course, the next day, after I finished the book I chuckled to myself...three guys...one girl! Please. But in my opinion that is beauty of what a book should do, enterain, provide distraction, information, or a fun-fantasy escape. Fans of Maya Banks will not be disappointed with this one.

it answers the question of 'How???',

My curiosity was piqued when this book was recommended to me by Amazon. I had to read the summary twice to make sure I read it correctly. I had to read the book just to find out the logistics of how such a crowded bed would work. And the author describes it in detail, so if you're curious, this book does not disappoint. But, I gave it only 3 stars because, the plot was not really strong. The beginning of the book/the mystery of 'who dunnit' had me hooked, but once her lovers showed up, the plot slowed down. Or I should say, I was more focused to find out when they will all do the deed again. The first time was implied in the story but not described, so wondering when they will get to it was definitely part of the suspense of this book, as well as the murder. I don't even remember what happened to the murder plot.

I will have to say that this book was a good read, but not up to the level of her other books. I really was in hopes of it being better than it turned out to be, but I wouldn't steer anyone away from purchasing it and I will most certainly continue supporting this author.
What I didn't care for - The story dragged for several chapters and in different places, which is unlike previous books by this author. Also, the sexy stuff came so far into the novel after a great promise of what was to come. For a good way into the book the guys didn't seem too intent on the sharing and each would have prefered if she could have chosen them. Later, they were resolved that this was the only way to be with her because she would never choose, but you are left thinking that this is going to be a problem down the road, or at least I was left thinking that. What I liked - How fiesty the heroine was, she wasn't some weak willed girl who couldn't handle herself and that was established right from the beginning. I also liked that the author didn't make her some virginal girl with limited experience with men. I just can't stand reading books like these that feature previously inexperienced women who immediately is comfortable with multiple partners, that always yanks me out of the fantasy a bit. Once they got going with the sexy stuff closer to the end, it was really, really, really hot - The author really delivered in the end with the erotic stuff if that's what one likes to read.

I really enjoyed this book. At first I was a little disappointed because after reading 100 pages nothing sexual had happened. Then I realized that it didn't matter because I was really enjoying the story. I gave the book 4 stars because the author left the story unfinished. There was no resolution to the murder mystery. She didn't reveal who really killed Misty. If it wasn't Daniel, they why did the guy they had in custody do it. If it was Daniel, why did that guy confess to murder? Since this is a book of FICTION, I had no problem with with the concept of one woman living with and loving 3 men. The only things that Hutch, Sawyer and Cam had in common is that the were raised by the same foster mother and they all loved Reggie (Regina). Other than those things, they are very different. Out of all the three guys, Sawyer was my favorite, just because of he was discribed as rough around the edges, and he liked to play fough.
This was the first book I've read by this author but it won't be the last.

Erotic Romance at its Best,

I loved how the author took her time and developed the romance without just throwing them all in bed. The conflict was presented so believably that I was completely sucked in. Wonderful character development. Well-paced plot. Smoking love scenes. Maya Banks just keeps getting better and better. Somehow, I'm going to make room for this keeper on my bookshelf.

Not going to describe the book again since it has been done.
I was at first excited to read this book but...I was confused when trying to get into the characters. It is almost as if there were too many men to keep up with. I have read other books that have the m/m/m/f focus. With this book I found myself making reference notes in the cover to keep track of the men. The female lead was basic. While she was strong in terms of her work she was also confused about her feelings for the men. I felt how they all loved each other but other than the bad guy plot of the book I would have liked more outside drama to work into dealing with their unusual relationship. While it has been mentioned that the love scenes came later...to me they were just slightly steamy. I enjoyed Reggie and Sawyer and Reggie and Cam the most. This book is not a bad read but I enjoyed reading For Her Pleasure more. Now looking at my TBR pile I will try Colters Woman next.

I've read many of Maya Banks books and I have to say she is one of the stars of erotic romance. For me there are thee kinds of erotic novels. The one that dives into sex in the first few pages and leaves your pulse racing throughout the book, the book that just throws in sex for the sake of sex and the novel that tells a story and include scenes of erotic romance throughout a story.
In this sensual suspense, Maya takes a little time out for the reader to get to know the characters. It would be easy to throw these four individuals into a room and say go ahead and get to the sex part. Let's face it what woman wouldn't fantasize about having three sexy, strong men devote their lives, love and sex life to you, but when it comes down to it in real life these things just don't happen. It takes some time for Reggie to come to grips with it. Maya does a great job in playing out those scenes. At times Reggie seems a bit to stubborn, but really how many women would be so easy to accept this situations and the changes it would bring to her life. As far as the suspense part of the story. There I was a little disappointed. I liked the story line, but thought the cops were a bit on the hick side. I mean come on, most readers would have figured out the end of the book in the first two chapters and yet the cops didn't even ask the proper questions. With working so hard to establish the characters in the story, it would have been in line to at least make the cops have some depth in the story, as well.

This is the first book I have read with 4 people (1 woman, 3 men) who can make their relationship work. I enjoy menage-and more stories. This one was written with class. Sexual without being grossly explicit, sweet and tender without being frilly and just enough intrigue to keep my intrest. All the characters are well defined and believable. I am discovering I like Maya Bank's style. A good read:)

Another keeper by Ms. Banks,
This review is from: Be With Me (Mass Market Paperback)
Hutch Bishop, Cam Douglas and Sawyer Pritchard were bad boys in their youth, only their female friend Regina Fallon kept them from going on the wrong side of the law. Their unusual friendship is put to test when she falls in love, not only with one of them but all three of them. She decides to put some distance between them, because she worries what will happen. Then suddenly her life is threatened by a crazy stalker and Hutch, Cam and Sawyer come to her rescue. Not only her life is threatened, but the feelings between all four reach new heights and can no be longer ignored. A fireworks of passion is ready to explode.
BE WITH ME is one of the hottest and best written erotic romances/ménage stories that I have ever read. The book is excellently written and there is not a major focus on the sex scenes, but there is a real plot that will keep you on the edge of your stairs. I was absolutely glued to the passages, because I was so curious what would happen next. The book has everything what a great book needs: love, sex, suspense and real good plot. BE WITH ME is for me a masterpiece of the erotic romance genre and if I wasn't a fan of Ms. Banks prior reading this book, I would definitely be one now. I can hardly wait till her next book will be released. So if you are looking for a steaming hot novel with real depth, BE WITH ME is the perfect book for you! I can highly recommend this keeper!
