This CD is absolutely wonderful. It caters to all ages from my 2nd grader to my kindergartner, to my husband, and well, to me. The songs present several music styles including rock, R & B, country and caribbean beats. Listening to this CD has made our car trips so much easier and it also has a wonderful message. Songs such as "Mammals", "Breakfast for Dinner," "Ain't Ain't a Word," "The Dictionary Game," And "Sometimes I Just Need a Hug," really make this a fantastic album. We have listened to this CD for hours and hours and have yet to tire of it. We really love it!

Although you might discount my review - as I am Leeny's sister - I can honestly tell you that this CD makes my one-year old daughter dance and smile, even when she's on the verge of tears. I've used "I Love Fruit" and "Stinky Diaper" to get her to stop crying when we're in the car and her FAVORITE by far is track 10 "What Have you Done with all the Penguins?!" As a Mom of two who wants her children to listen to a lot of different types of music, I've been mostly disappointed with the condescending lyrics, horrible production, and difficult to listen to music on most children's CDs. Leeny & Steve's music ranks up there with Laurie Berkner - it appeals to kids yet parents will like it too.

I ordered this CD for myself (I have a 15 month old) and also for a few friends that have young children. Everyone loves it! It's fun to listen to for both the kids and the moms and dads. Original songs, good beat, and something different!

It's easy to pass over a kids cd (heck, even a regular cd of an artist you like) if you're not sure about the whole thing...Don't make that mistake with Be Nice, it's the real deal. The songs are downright clever, with both humor & musical hooks which will snare even the most cautious of Parents (never mind the kids). I have played it for children of ALL ages- and everbody goes away smiling. It's good stuff- the kind that kinda makes you go "Why hasn't anyone done this before now?"

This is a GREAT CD to play at home or in the car. The songs teach the kids things with fun rhythms, hilarious lyrics, and wonderful melodies. I found myself singing along the first time I heard it and my daughter cheers and claps when I put it on now. I can't wait for more from these two.

Rarely can you find a cd, and love every single song. This cd will change that!!!

Every single song makes you smile, makes you think, makes you want to listen to it again and again, and never get tired of it! Leeny is a genius at changing, disguising her voice - from reggae, to country, to sounding like a princess... She is amazing, and has a wonderful talent! Steve is a master as well (love the spoon solo), and together they have made my 5 year old daughter and I happy every time we press play. I've also learned a thing or three about Mammals, and the Dictionary game has us both in hysterics as I try to come up with a new word and sing along! Brilliant and happy music... 3 thumbs up!!! :)

My son asks for this CD every time we are in the car. He knows all the songs by heart! I would recommend this to any family, parents will enjoy as well as the kids!!

Every song on this record makes me smile. I can think of so many kids and adults I wanna give it to as soon as possible. No one is too young or too old to enjoy it.
