I've been a fan of Ingrid's for over a year now, and I have to say this is her best album yet!!!! The perfect blend of original songs, live recordings, and covers, this CD is a must have for any Ingrid fan or follower of the "coffeehouse" genre. Ingrid's songs are both healing and inspiring. Out of all of her great songs, my favorite tracks are "The Chain", "Lady in Spain", and "Keep Breathing". This CD is also a small taste of the fun and incredible experience of seeing Ingrid live in concert. Get yourself a copy today, and buy it as a gift for others, as a portion of the proceeds go to a great cause, Stand Up to Cancer. And don't miss the chance to see her live in concert!!!! Also be sure to check out the new holiday CD The Hotel Cafe Presents...Winter Songs which features an original duet of Ingrid with another favorite, Sara Bareilles, called "Winter Song". Most of Michaelson's songs have multiple vocal parts and together, they create a complex harmony superior than any loop peda or Mac effect. This is apparent in "The Chain". The song is three part vocal canon that is a powerhouse of emotion. Dependent entirely on the vocals for impact, the piano is subtle enough to accompany without detracting from the vocals. It really takes three singers to pull this one off. This record is full of pop gems.

This is Ingrid's best album yet!!!! The perfect blend of original songs, live recordings, and covers, this CD is a must have for any Ingrid fan. Ingrid's songs are both inspirational and moving. The best songs on the CD are "The Chain" and "Keep Breathing". Get yourself a copy today, and know that a portion of the proceeds goes to Stand Up to Cancer. I have seen Ingrid in concert and it was so much fun. She had me laughing in between every song. I would highly recommend checking out her Be OK tour when she is in your area. I promise you won't regret it. Make sure to get this CD and Boys and Girls. They are both wonderful.

I love this album. Ingrid's smooth vocals carry the listener through the album from her very first word to the very last.

There are three live tracks on the album:
- The Chain
- The Way I Am
- Can't Help Falling in Love
I did not anticipate being surprised by these tracks since I've seen Ingrid live many times, but these tracks still seemed as fresh and alive to me as when I first heard them.

Check "Be OK" out. You will not be let down!

If you haven't discovered Ingrid yet, it's time. While nothing can quite equal her live performances (She's on tour now, definitely go see her if you can. She's both talented, and hilarious! It's always a good show), this is a great second album to follow Girls and Boys. I listen to Giving Up, The Chain, and Keep Breathing on repeat! If you've gone to any of Ingrid's shows this year, you may recognize some of the music on this album as "new songs" she debuted on tour. Another cool thing - she's donating some of the profits from this album to Stand Up 2 Cancer. Pretty cool thing for an unsigned artist to do. Add this CD to your Christmas list!

This album is great. Ingrid always manages to create catchy melodies with thoughtful, sweet lyrics. This album is more of a B-Sides record than a traditional full-length, just to let listeners know. I can't wait for an official studio recording for "The Chain" because it's one of my favorite songs from Ingrid. The live version which appears on this album is still gorgeous, though. My other favorite track on this record is "Giving Up." It's such a sweet song.
Get this album! Some of the proceeds go to the Stand Up 2 Cancer fund, which is awesome.

Ingrid has released a strong album as a follow up to her previous CD, Girls and Boys. Very melodic and wonderfully mellow songs.

Also you will find the single "Keep Breathing" that was featured in the 2007 season finale of Grey's Anatomy.

Good work, Ingrid!
