5.0 out of 5 stars A Little-Heralded Christian Doctrine, January 20, 2005
This review is from: Be Ye Holy (Paperback)
Christian separation is a doctrine that is seldom heard of in many of today's churches. This work is an excellent apologetic of this vital doctrine.

With the Lord's holiness being the foundational reason for Christian separation, Moritz's defense proceeds from the bedrock of this essential attribute of the Almighty.

I found this book very informative and would definitely recommend it to Christians who are unfamiliar with this critical teaching.

4.0 out of 5 stars A Little Dirt Never Hurt Anyone?, December 29, 2009

This review is from: Be Ye Holy (Paperback)
The Context of the Book of Biblical Separation, which is the call of God.
The first place I think is Romans 12:1,2
To present your bodies as a living and holy sacrifice
which is your reasonable service.
Here the Word tells us this type of walk or service is
reasonable, nothing extrodinary, nothing exceptional.
It is our Own Sacrifice, It is our Own Call, each Christian
is to give of themselves to be HOLY.

This Book is a dissertation as recorded in the opening pages.
This Outline and Subject matter of Being Holy is the Call of
Grace in our lives as spelled out in many places throughout
the Word of God. Here Dr. Moritz, pours out his 'self' to
convince the reader of bringing oneself to a separation unto
Holiness.

Dr. Moritz was born from a long line of Separatists in
the Christian Faith of German desent. This man of God speaks
from his heart as a true evangelical, a scholarily evangelist,
leader and servant of missionaries.

This Baptist Theologian states he practices separatism and teaches
this method as the Biblical Precept in the Scriptures. This book
also attacks Neo-Evangelicalism along with its forerunners of Harold
Ockenga, Billy Graham, Fuller Seminary, and The Conservative Baptist
Movement as their comments and stands have placed in the forefront of
their Theology, In-Filtration over Separatism, being Ecumenical in form.

Unity of Christian Separtists is a primary teaching in the Scriptures,
yet much of today's church have disengaged from literal biblical teachings.
Dr. Mortize brings much to the front lines of Christian Belief and Mainstays
as taught throughout the scriptures.

While being aligned with a similar understanding in Separatism, also desiring
unity in the faith, Christians are called out, set-apart for this work, to become
Holy and Acceptable which is our reasonable service. How can the church today
mature to this code of ethics? By divesting of self and seeking God in prayer
to take hold of ourselves and use our bodies, temples of the Living God as His own.
But, for God to do this, "We must be willing to allow God to have His own way in
our lives and live for Him and Him Alone." Make a Lamp unto my feet and a Light unto
path that I may not sin against God. The Word of God being active in our lives is
the only way.

Bravo to Dr. Moritz! A Good Read and Study for Those Who are Ready to Take a Stand
for the Faith!

4.0 out of 5 stars A Good Book on Christian Separation, March 7, 2002

This review is from: Be Ye Holy (Paperback)
Mr. Moritz's book on Separation is kinda sorta bland, however he has a wonderful "heritage" (see the book for more information). I enjoyed reading it even though it seemed like reading a thesis (it probabbly is one, or a compilation of many). It is great information and especially the foot notes are detailed and so you can check out other sources.
