The author has an incredible ability to teach and motivate. I highly recommend this book for anyone that thinks it's too difficult to achieve a great looking body... it's awesome!

I just got this book only three weeks ago and am very impressed. I was very sore the first time and I consider myself to be in 'reasonable' shape (I run/cardio 5-7 times per week) - a delicious ouch. I am in week three and feel changes happening already, and am telling my fitness friends to get it for themselves. In appearance it looks like many other workout books: text and photos of a woman (the author) demonstrating the movements. But, the way she isolates muscle structure and puts it in order is very, very effective - I am seeing definite results in the three weeks (2x/week) that I have been doing the workout. I am planning on getting the tape as well. If you want a workout that WORKS but is adaptable to your own fitness level, this is a great one.

This book was very enjoyable to read and offers a lot of great information. I have learned so much from reading it, and I am very motivated to get into shape. The exercises outlined in the book are well illustrated and easy to follow. Suesan has a very good approach to achieving a healthy, stronger body. Her style is very user friendy and is not intimidating.

Suesan Pawlitski's book, "Be your best body",is simply the best routine anybody can follow any where you are. I am an avid work out addict and found Suesan's work out to be effective and "core " strengthening as well as allowing me to be more flexible, even without the benefits of Yoga. I'm fortunate to live in Santa Barbara and am able to take her classes three times a week along with my other work outs, and even though I have considered myself to be in great shape, her classes are still a tough work out. You too can follow her classes by simply following along with her book, the routines are all in there and are the absolute best. They are clear and concise and so easy to follow. The benefits are unbeleivable!

Suesan's book had every argument I used to use against working out and her sense of humor drove me straight to her class. When I miss a class I get depressed!! I am almost 40 and am recovering my 20 year old body!! Totally recommend the book -- but, once read, prepare to get in shape!!

Movement has been Suesan Lazarus Pawlitski's life long passion and companion. Her "Tone-Up" System is unique,safe and gets results. I highly recommend "Be Your Best Body" to anyone who wants to get fit and stay fit.

Suesan's workout simply works! Her book and tape provide a clear, practical guide to her program, which I have found to be the most effective and beneficial. My improved level of fitness, health and overall well-being are a direct result of using the Tone-Up method developed by Suesan as she describes it in her book.Her exercices help me with my strength, balance, and coordination and shape my body in a most satisfying way. She is one of the best kept secrets of Santa Barbara, but not for long, that's for sure.I highly recommend her book.

What makes this book good is what it isn't: It's not a fitness guru pontificating on how to get and keep a world-class fabulous body. Suesan Lazarus Pawlitski doesn't advocate obsessive exercise--she recommends a bunch of good ways to become fit without killing yourself. She's got a common sense approach that will work with most people's every day life. You don't have to become a gym rat to build a better body for yourself--one that looks good and copes better with lifting the groceries or pushing a lawnmower.

As a man, I'm not Suesan's target audience, but I found her general advice on fitness and the weight-training exercises to be very good. don't be compulsive about it

"Be Your Best Body" is a well-written, concise guide to getting fit in which the exercises are explained and illustrated in a clear, straightforward manner. It's rare to find a fitness book that is interesting to read, sets honest, realistic goals, and doesn't make you feel like a failure if you're not Pamela Anderson material. I highly recommend "Be Your Best Body" to anyone looking for an intelligent, inspiring guide to looking and feeling great.
