Buy this video if you need to watch 60 minutes of groin kicks followed with an elbow strike - That's it - sum total of this worthless DVD. Compounding the absurdity, each sequence is repeated in slow motion 3TIMES!!! If you removed the slow motion replays, the actual text of the video would probably run for 15 minutes max.

i am an experianced martial art teacher with more than 20 years of experiance. I am always looking for clear and practical ways to show my students how to keep themselves safe in simple and effective ways. This DVD is great. The material covered is practical and to the point. For someone who doesn't want to spend months or years training, this is the answer. I picked up extra copies of the women's video and gave them to the women in our offices. I can't think of a better gift.

I've bought numerous books and videos on self defense and have taken many courses over the years. Some were taught by karate instructors other by "military" people, I've always found them very confusing and difficult to understand. This course walked me through simple techniques that REALLY work. My wife talked me into this after watching the womens course, she loved the womens course. I highly recommend this course to everyone...

This is a superb "Teach yourself, self defence DVD", It teach`s you very simple examples of self defence that is very easy to master yourself.
To be honest, it is so simple to master that I am now teaching my family some of these moves that are in this DVD.
Even if you have know idea whatsoever about self defence, this DVD makes it very easy to pick up and master, especially the weak points that makes an attacker vulnerable if you know where to hit and how.
Personally, I give this DVD a 5 star rating.

After seeing this video, I was very impressed. It is very easy to understand and is great for the person without any experience. A must for all.

At long last, someone's made a worthy successor to the seminal "Be Your Own Lover For Men" DVD.
